Really bad customer service. I went to buy ariel pods to clean my clothes in the local laundry. I have no coins I paid with a £20 note and ask as a favour to have some coins as change, the cashier didn't want to listen to me and asked me to go to a bank that they are not a bank to change notes I could understand that probably they didn't have enough coins to help me, but I am sure that she could be more positive and polite and make more helpful suggestions as there was not a near neither and open bank, I have to ask several times, after ask again if she could change one of the £5 notes that she gave me and finally she did. So I could the washing machine, but I couldn't use the drying machine as it is 50p coin only and the cashier could not help me or didn't want to, for the way the react all the way negative.
I am a coop member, but am new to this store. Staff member older male with pony tail needs retraining I asked him at bread section for help - nothing doing - just kept on talking to himself and shelves and ignored me. Sadly moved to till as I went through - lo and behold no receipts and no card receipt. I said I'd wait for queue to go down , but he would not be able to help as no receipt would ever be forthcoming. I was buying multi deals so wanted to check all ok. I am a mystery shopper for other companies - I am appalled this type of poor service hasn't been flagged up and addressed. Shop interior good - staff I encountered nil points. provide a
Mostly inept, badly informed staff especially this morning re own brand gin! No shelf marker, no stock on shelf? This at a time when on special offer, reduced by £1-49?? Often missing from shelf but plenty in store room? Now informed very likely to be discontinued?? I hope not and will persevere with being the nuisance customer who 'asks' for it!!
Handy store with a good size car park… Always well stocked
As a student at the nearby school, it has everything I need. £3.50 for a meal deal is a very good deal. I have the co-op app aswell and get discounts each week for products I buy, which it tailors to my choice of purchase. When I'm running low on money it helps a lot to go there rather than other shops. Very convenient.
Recently updated convenience food store on busy A59 to Lakes. Small car park, often quite full. Good range of food, some ready meals and lottery. Also has ATM, but no fuel.
Well stocked, reasonable prices for a local and always friendly staff :-
Bit pricey and not great selection but it's local for odds and ends, wouldn't do a big shop. Can scan your own stuff. Remember to take your membership card if u have one. At least get a bit of something back :
Excellent place, however, I do keep hearing the same music that i have been hearing around Sutton park. The same people??? thanks for my breadsticks though, they were very nice
Self service tills are annoying as they are continually asking you to wait for an assistant who has to push a button or enter a code before the next item can be scanned. I think the weight calculation for each item is faulty or too sensitive.
