The shop and staff are fine. I'm just confused as to why my co-op loyalty card doesn't work at the co-op at the end of my street. Apparently, I'm enrolled with a different co-op area. Surely this should be made consistent nationally!
There is one woman in the post office who I have found very rude and abrupt on many occasions, a blonde lady! The other lady is very polite! I can understand the current situation is difficult but there is ways to speak to people and she has zero customer service skills whatsoever! She spoke to me in a condescending manner when I entered the shop to see if there was a queue for the post office as when having to queue outside you cannot tell if the counter is free to approach or not as some customers go shopping afterwards so u don’t see people coming out to know if u can go in! She shouted from the booth one at a time, and when I went up to the booth she continued going on about to her colleague within my ear shot then proceeded to keep having a go at me? I told her to leave it there I understand and she carried on and went so far as saying don’t come in then !!! Very very rude! I’m so glad there is another post office in the town centre to utilise in future!
I'd like to thank the young gentleman at this store that helped me with finding a local post office and making a call to them to ensure that they would take the amount of coins I had, he went beyond this into helping me back to my car with the said coins. He should get a pay rise.
Consistently under-staffed - long queues.nnBakery section very limited compared to stores of similar size, never any sausage rolls.nnMulti-buy deals charge normal prices at till happened twice!nnAvery poor show for Co-Op standards
I’d like to complain about one of your workers called Lauren. She refused to serve me 2 alcoholic drinks even when I had my passport in my hand I am 22 years old. My Fiancé was behind me waiting in line and Lauren wanted to see 2 IDs just because she was with me. Lauren knows my Fiancé and they’re the same age, my fiancé never had her ID on her which is extremely frustrating for me because it’s stupid having to check 2 forms of ID when both drinks are for me. I got someone who I knew WITH ID even though the drink WERE FOR ME to go in and get the drinks but AGAIN refused because he was with me and my Fiancé EVEN THOUGH I HAD ID. I find this sort of customer service very appalling and was no need for 2 forms of ID. She shouldn’t be working there.
