Shelves are usually half empty or completely empty.nThere is a member of staff in particular who is very rude .nI don’t know her name but she is of Asian heritage and was on the till on Sunday 2nd March ‘25 for reference for Co Op to investigatenI went into the store several weeks ago and she literally knocked into my basket with a crate of bread, when I politely said can you wait for me to chose my items , she said “I’m doing my job!” I told her , her job is to serve customers and I moved on , I than looked over and she was just standing there starring at me with an intense look! I asked her if there was an issue, to my shock she said “it’s my eyes , I’ll look where I want”nSpoke to the manager he told me to call a number !nI came back today and to my surprise I was starred at by the same colleague right up until I left the store . I think this colleague either needs more training or should not work in a customer service role!
the pay point for topping up electric and gas is always “broken” aka they are lazy and don’t want to do it. it is awful here. as well as a constant “broken” pay point, they hardly ever have full stock, especially sandwiches. the worst is the sandwich stock. this is the most awful co op in borehamwood, save your time and go to tesco instead.
I've lived in the area for 2 years and it's the closest store and I have to go here in case I need something urgently. For 2 years they are always very rude workers, I don't want to be racist but most of them are Indians and they are always the most rude. They always say that the machine that recharges the gas card doesn't work for them. and there was another experience a while ago I was with my son and I wanted to buy a scratchcard but I didn't have the ID with me. And I said politely if I was younger than 18 how could I have a child? and the boy who was serving told me yes, I know, you Romanians have children at 15 under the conditions that I'm 28 and it's my first child Finally, I hope they change all these mean workers, including the manager
i was chased out the store up the road by two asian women who work there that accused me of stealing and then they backtracked and said i hadn’t? i even showed them inside my jacket and bag. they embarrassed me in front of the general public, when i had categorically not been stealing. i didn’t know you couldn’t walk in the shop and browse the drinks and leave without being persecuted and accused of stealing.
The shelves are always empty and they’re never stocked. i’m looking for something as common as onions and they won’t have it. Also the workers have an attitude for no reason, i’m glad i’m not the only one who noticed. And shockingly overpriced for bad quality produce. I wish this placed would get replaced by a Tesco express or something. what a waste of space .
