Great afternoon out! Very peaceful trip on the canal. Mark was friendly and knowledgable . Because it was quiet we got to have a go at the locks and even steering! Will definitely book again!

We had a lovely afternoon tea cruise. The food was great and Mark was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. The boat was just right and you didn't feel on top of each other. Would definitely recommend it. We be do it again. Thank you so much

We can not praise this whole experience enough! The host was informative and very kind to us after we arrived slightly late. Food was wonderful, a small select group of lovely people shared the cruise and the whole evening was most enjoyable. Beautiful countryside and wildlife and a host who went above and beyond to make the experience so perfect. A trip we will never forget!

A very pleasant afternoon cruise with a very well informed Captain/ Guide. The afternoon tea was fine, but the scones needed more jam. It would nice for those of us who drink coffee, if packs of ground coffee as used in some hotels, or coffee bags were available rather than instant coffee to which I'm allergic...and I don't drink tea, either. Highly recommended tour and would definitely go again.

We had a lovely trip with Marc, lovely boat and afternoon tea. We had a private cruise for my birthday. Would highly recommend - Marc is a lovely guy and made us feel welcome, told us some interesting facts about the places we passed. He let me and my 4 year old operate the swing bridge and gave my son some food to feed the ducks. All in all a lovely birthday. Thanks Marc

My sister and I had a lovely afternoon tea  cruising along the canal. The food was good and Mark, our host and 'captain' was very knowledgeable about the local history and the barge was comfortable. We would definitely recommend it and will be doing it again!

We loved the cruise, very friendly and informative and obviously what in the most part you are paying for.  The afternoon tea was quite basic and could possibly do with a little more added to the savoury selection, a pork pie, sausage roll or quiche maybe? Really enjoyed the day though and the sun even shone.

Perfect, couldn’t ask for more. Me and my partner took my mum and dad for the breakfast cruise for my dads birthday and it was better than expected, lovely sunny day. The host was very friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend and definitely do it again.

We thoroughly enjoyed this leisurely trip on the Leeds/Liverpool Canal. The weather was kind enabling us to appreciate the local scenery and envy some of the splendid canalside houses and gardens. Mark, our skipper, kept us entertained with the history of the canal and associated industries. All this whilst enjoying a few glasses of wine to accompany our fresh sandwiches and cakes. Take a camera as there are opportunities along the route for great shots including some posing herons. A great present from our daughter and one that we shall recommend to our friends.
