I have visited the Gower many times to camp and enjoyed the fabulous beaches but fancied somewhere a little different to walk the dogs. I discovered Clyne Gardens and was so glad I did. What a gem! A gorgeous walk in well kept gardens and the dogs could run free in beautiful surroundings. Free entry with free parking by The Woodman pub. Amazing!
Excellent place with lots of different trail that keep the kids busy with lots of small bridges. Japanese bridge is gorgeous. We parked in Mill lane where parking is free outside Mumbai restaurant. We then chilled in the lido that is just opposite the garden and a great walk along the beach. It can't go wrong with everything on offer It is absolutely free.
I spent a few hours between the gardens, and Swansea Bay, beach. It was all beautiful and free xx
Such beautiful gardens, coffee van and fantastic walks. Fantastic views over the bay!
Very beautiful park , suggest you follow the water going up the mountain , you'll see all kinds of plants and waterfall finally , once to the top turn right to the longest path you will see a open area full of green grass then a beautiful view will in front of you , green grass under you foot , the green trees , beautiful flowers , the sea at back the green and mountains in further back... you definitely don't want to miss it.
Beautiful day trip the children loved it will highly recommend a visit, parking is free on the side street a very peaceful place to visit
First visit to Clyne Gardens and can't wait to go back! Beautiful Gardens in beautiful setting, with stunning views of the coastline. There is plenty of benches to sit on and the scenery is outstanding all around you. You can buy coffee, tea etc or bring your own! Car parking is great, we parked in first carpark as you drive down the side of the Woodman Arms. Clyne Gardens is an hidden gem, which I am sure you will love
Loved it, a great place to take a walk amongst the woodlands..... Definitely worth a visit Restrooms: Toilets available Dog-friendliness: Very dog friendly Picnic area: Plenty of space for a picnic
Stunning, so many pathways to adventure, a huge lawn for picnics in the better weather. Lots of benches. It's full of wonderful flowering trees and shrubs from different parts of the world. Equally attractive in winter to summer, and dogs safe off the leads away from the gates. Well maintained. Restrooms: There are well maintained facilities in the gardens. There's also somewhere to get coffee and cake Dog-friendliness: Dog bins and enclosed, although 3 gates open onto nearby roads. Picnic area: Plenty of picnic tables and benches dotted around.
An amazing park, definitely in my top three in Swansea if not my favourite. Dog friendly and it is absolutely massive, if you explore for long enough it will feel as if you are no longer in the same park. Really handy that the Woodman pub is at the bottom and across the road is the lido.
