Was a a dear friend of the family. Beautiful grounds well kept.
My family had booked in to scatter my Mums Margaret Ramsays ashes today on what would have been.her 97th birthday and I have to say we we shocked and saddened by the complete lack of care of the grounds and benches around the perimeter. Having never been before I assumed as we all did this would be a nice well kept area with flowers and some nice benches we could sit chat and as a family remember our nice family times growing up. The benches are broken and badly in need of restoration The lawn is unkempt with not a flower in site to say we were shocked is an understatement On the plus side the team were extremely helpful. I would urge anyone considering this option to visit beforehand as you only have one chance with this and if we could change my mums final resting place I am sure we would It is nothing short of disgraceful that a place which hold very dear memories of their loved ones should be allowed to fall into this state of disrepair. Please ensure you visit before any decision is made I wish I did!
Clydebank crematorium do a fantastic job and the staff really do care at a difficult time for folk
