From the very start of the design process to the end result Clyde kitchens has been a dream to work with making our kitchen dreams come true! Very very happy! Can’t wait for them to do our bathrooms!!!!
Worst company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Not surprised these con men closed and reopened under a different name. Thousands over our original quote. Months late being fitted and nothing but trouble with 3 different fitters. Wrong appliances sent, wrong door handles sent. We where 5 weeks with our kitchen ripped out feeding a family of 5 on take away because we had no way of cooking anything. We had half a kitchen over Christmas while the old kitchen lay in the garden. We had electricians chapping our door for payment on hogmanay even though we had already paid the fitter. Had to get someone back to do repairs on doors who was rude to my daughter.
Cannot fault my new kitchen from Clyde Kitchens. We visited the showroom and planned our kitchen with the help of Jack who was brilliant, making helpful suggestions and was more than happy to make small changes to the design as we went through the process. The kitchen was then delivered a few days before installation by Stevie who did a wonderful job and went the extra mile coming back out at a later date to fit the flooring after we were let down by the suppliers, and even popping round on a bank holiday weekend to fix a small leak under the sink. Absolutely delighted with the finished work.
Decent price for kitchen, however, when sold the kitchen by designer Rochelle we explicitly requested a fridge freezer which was suitable for a family of four, instead we received a fridge freezer which was in fact smaller than the one we previously had and is not suitable for a family of four. And yes we did order this fridge freezer but it was from a brochure and on the recommendation from Rochelle. The doors on the fridge freezer do not tie in with the larder doors in which it is contained, therefore we cannot attach the fridge freezer doors to the larder unit doors to allow the fridge freezer doors to be opened when we open the larder doors if that makes sense, again poor design from Rochelle. The bottom of the kitchen unit door which is fitted to the dishwasher supplied fouled on the kickboard when opened resulting in us having to bastardise the kickboard to accommodate which can be seen when entering our kitchen. We received some damaged panels which we contacted Clyde Kitchens about who were happy to replace. We've also got a damaged door, again Clyde were happy to replace once we supplied dimensions which I've still not done. Over all an OK experience, but the kitchen designer/sales person and appliances have let it down. Would I buy another kitchen from them? Probably not.
When it was time for a new kitchen I did some homework and decided to go for Clyde Kitchens. That was back in 2012. There were a few niggles after the kitchen was fitted but Clyde Kitchens put those good. The oven was the major problem. It was faulty and kept blowing circuit boards. Once again though Clyde Kitchens put this right without any fuss. Then a few years later one of the wall cupboard brackets sheered and the unit was hanging off the wall. A call to Clyde Kitchens and 2 fitters where in my house a few days later and the bracket was replaced. It's now been 8 years since the kitchen was fitted and that same bracket went again. Turns out the wall isn't level so the bolt sheers due to the pressure. Still, another quick call and 2 working days after lockdown was lifted Clyde Kitchens fitter Drew was in my house fixing things. He used an L bracket to secure the wall cupboard so now it wont sheer. And Drew even put some soft close brackets on my cupboard doors and showed my where to get rest I needed. I've found Clyde Kitchens to be 1 of the most helpful companies I've ever dealt with. Unlike other companies I've dealt with; Clyde Kitchens are a company that actually honours their guarantee.
Delighted! I was looking to get my kitchen renewed and as you’d expect I got some quotes to compare prices. Some prices were crazy with smarmy salesmen but decided to go with Clyde Kitchens as they ticked all the boxes. From start to finish it was an easy and painless process. Caroline was great, listened to what I wanted and guided me through the design stage with some great idea’s to create some much needed additional storage, then explained how the installation process would work. Gerry from Masterfit Installation Services visited my home before the installation was due to begin to survey the kitchen and to explain how the install would be carried out and to ensure all details were correct. Kevin started on the Monday and was completed on the Thursday. I’m delighted with the end result, cannot fault anything. They team did a great job. Gerry called me every evening to ensure all was ok and I was happy with the progress. Caroline and the installation team treated me and my home with respect, nothing was too much trouble which is more than I can say about other firms I have dealt with in the past. Thanks again to everyone involved – this is how customer service should be. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Firstly am going start with saying I was a bit worried getting clyde kitchens to do my kitchen as I had seen some negative reviews.Well I can only speak on behave of myself and my wife we had 2 lovely young gentlemen attend our property to install our new kitchen. George and gazza nothing was to much trouble for these guys they attended every morning at 8am and some nights never left to 6pm they were really hard workers and a real credit to clyde kitchens both myself and my wife are delighted with our new kitchen and the workmanship was second to none ifclydekitchens
I have had nothing but trouble since getting my kitchen through Clyde and nobody willing to help me put it right. Dishwasher never worked and fair play a replacement was sent. I've had two leaks which the kitchen fitter is blaming Clyde for and no safety certificate for my electrical work. No lights working on kickboards or underneath cupboards and no contact since early November despite the installation being started in May. Avoid at all costs. Almost 10 grand lighter and not even a fantastic kitchen to show for it. Poor customer service all round.
i have recently had my bathroom and kitchen completely refitted and beautifully styled by Clyde Kitchens. From the moment I entered the showroom I was treated with professionalism and courtesy Total care was taken by my consultant into choosing my appliances and units to suit my room space and lifestyle. Clyde Kitchens attention to detail is commendable and extremely professional. I now have a beautiful bathroom and kitchen that is modern, perfectly functional and family orientated. Have recommended this company to friends and family.
I've now bought my second kitchen from Clyde and can't be happier. At every stage from the design right through to the fitting, I was looked after and consulted with to make sure I was getting the kitchen I wanted. The service I received was second to none and I am delighted with the end result. I am more than happy to recommend Clyde Kitchens.
