We found this wonderful place by just walking by. This is the first place I've seen in Brighton which makes fantastic gluten free cakes. My white peanut butter blondie was huge!....and absolutely delicious! My hot chocolate with soya or was it oat? was great too! The lovely young lady with brown hair was really friendly and professional. She knows her cakes! I'll visit again when I'm in Brighton.

We ordered our wedding cake from Cloud 9 in November 2022 and it was stunning! All our guests commented on how delicious it was. The team decorated it with some beautiful flowers which they helpfully sourced for us. We were also able to have a vegan top layer which was a nice touch for our vegan guests. The team were really helpful in planning the cake and being on hand to answer any questions. They also delivered it directly to the venue. Would definitely recommend Cloud 9 for weddings or other events!

What a fantastic cake! We ordered a three tier cake in three flavours Vanilla, Lemon and Chocolate White Chocolate for our wedding. From the first enquiry made by my Dad when getting himself a coffee and a cake on a walk to the final slice Cloud 9 has been excellent. The bakers are wonderful and the staff really helpful even sorted me with a handful of dairy free cupcakes two days before the event! Encorporated every design request and were happy and open to conversations with us and very reasonably priced. Most importantly the cake was delicious & I've been eating it for breakfast all week! Thank you!

Haven’t collected my cake so far so, slightly premature review from me.. but.. I have ordered 2 cakes for my children for September after being recommended the bakery from a friend who had her child’s birthday cake made there.  I have found the service really good, when I put my initial order in it was very thorough going through the whole details of each cake. And I didn’t feel rushed even slightly, we went through tonnes of combinations of colours and flavours. So it made me come away feeling good and about the purchase and the choice I made. Sienna was also really helpful today.  You can just tell they really care about what they do.

I usually adore cloud 9, but this last experience I had has left me doubting it. Do not get me wrong… The cake is delicious but I was really upset with the depth of the cake. I was quite shocked. It needed another layer atleast.. it was £55 which personally I think is extremely expensive for what I got… especially as I asked for it not to be decorated as I had my own. I think £50+ would absolutely be worth it if it was a tier cake or decorated or even rainbow filling. It was nice tasting but no way worth £50+. Such a shame, I was so so disappointed. Cloud 9, if you are reading this, please make your cakes thicker with more depth. It was like a tray cake…  I had the large rectangle cake, the width of it was fine, but the depth is no way worth what I paid. As I say.. it was like a foil tray cake. I’m wondering if I would of had to pay more if I had asked for another layer to make it higher/depth.. I wish I could post a photo of it on here because it really was poor.  If anyone is going for the large rectangle cake then PLEASE get another layer or stick to circle. I also requested a semi naked icing but even that wasn’t done great.. it looked like I did it myself.. and that wouldn’t be decent. It didn’t look cloud 9 standards atal : if I wanted a homemade a cake, I would of just made it myself. It’ll just be less tasty

Ordered birthday cupcakes for my boyfriend from Cloud 9 and they were amazing!! Was looking for vegan options in Brighton and am really glad I went with Cloud 9 : Beautifully decorated and tasted great, highly recommend

Beautiful birthday cake for my daughter's 40th. It was exactly as ordered and the right size for the party. Everyone loved the cake - it was delicious! Even people who 'don't usually like cake' loved it and came back for second helpings. Thanks to Niamh who took the order for me and to the bakers who made a wonderful cake!

We got our wedding cake made by them. I could not have chosen a better place, staff was amazing all the way through the process, there were delicious options for people that had intolerances and the cake came out exactly like we had imagined.

I would have given more stars and I really don’t want to give this one, but this morning at the London road branch Brighton the lady who served us was so utterly rude I would not go there to buy again. She could barely speak to us in a civil manner. I had intended to buy more cakes but really didn’t want to pay to be served so rudely. Very disappointing when the ladies in your Kensington gardens cafe are always pleasant.

I ordered a custom birthday cake from Cloud 9 for my boyfriend recently. Every step of the ordering process was easy, the team is really friendly, and the cake was delicious! Couldn’t recommend more.
