Usually I am fairly happy with the store but today I was disappointed with the service. The arrangement for dress patterns has changed – only three books now (bad) and a small table to sit at (good). I spent a long time choosing a pattern and then saw that the assistant was fully occupied cutting fabric, so I went to the till. The assistant there said I must go back to the other end, I said I did not wish to wait. Eventually she left the main till as other staff were not coming to help, and spent some time finding my pattern while the rest of the queue waited – it looked as though the patterns are not now in drawers, but it some sort of folder? What is happening here – surely home dress-making is on the up, so why this change, and why not enough staff to serve?

I like this store, but on Wednesday I walked into the store and was looking at the Peter Rabbit things I opened a box with 2 mugs in it and then closed it, all of a sudden a woman named Bev said, "Can I help you these are in the same box that is opened there, pointing her finger." It would be impossible to know this, I thought to myself and then she walked away a horrible miserable woman with an attitude that would stop you going into this store.
