Authorised and regulated is a worrying statement from this company. Applied for car finance to be given 17.7%APR quote with a excellent credit score! Refused the quote and went to experian to use their panel of lenders approx 10 the highest APR I got offered was 10.9% and the lowest 8.8%. It bacame clear at this point I wasn't being looked after financially and my best interests protected. I have since been led to believe that they pay a mark up to the dealer for promoting their services. I have made a complaint and will also be complaining to the financial ombudsmen. Don't take the first offer. Especially from these people. Always get other quotes using soft searches. These people use hard searches which instantly limits your ability going forward. Please don't make this mistake.
Absolutely awful, My partner has had constant issues with her account. And they aren't even open on a weekend. She's had difficulties since February 2022 it is now August 2022 and still can't log onto her account. Women on the phone yeah we've had technical issues : like really technical issues for 6 months you are having a laugh. Avoid at all costs.
Absolute rubbish! Several issues in the past and they were incredibly slow, unresponsive, incompetent, rude, etc. Now, I've trying to resent my password and it turns out that even their website is as useless as people working there. I rang up a couple of months ago, someone promised they'll look into it and haven't heard since.
Not happy at all with this company. Defaulted me on 14 payments after I paid loan of in full and single handed ruined my perfect credit to the point I can't even get an over draft with my bank and still 8 weeks later they have done nothing not even had the Decency to call me back. My advice is to stay well clear of this company absolutely rubbish service.
this business appears to make it very difficult for an existing customer to speak to someone about their finance account unless you are a dealer or potential dealer, then it only takes 30 seconds?? sums up how much they value repeat custom
If I could give a minus for this organisation I would. They charged £40 for a missed payment that genuinely I missed due to being overseas but paid within 2 days by me contacting them and then they added a poor score to my excellent credit rating which has affected an incredibly important house move. Luckily this was a short term finance stop gap that will be settled within the next couple of months but for anyone considering using this company long term you need to seriously consider their after service team. Horrendous T&C's .
So this is going back a bit but have seen the review has since been deleted. I purchased a car on finance from a garage in Gosport using motor finance from you guys. Turns out the car I was sold had a falsified service history. When the car very quickly started developing problems did you want to know? No. Wouldn't take the car back until after I had payed nearly £2k in repair bills for a car that had a total finance package of £3.2k. when you did eventually agree to collect the car you took me to court because you couldn't sell it for what I paid for it. Maybe close brothers should pay a bit more attention to the dealer's they work with
I sold my car and asked to cancel my insurance and was made to pay almost half of the Annual cost of the insurance. This is grossly unfair. Most insurance companies only charge a£60 cancellation fee. I am not happy and don’t recommend them to anyone.
What a terrible company they are, i have a credit policy with them , and pay monthly. i realised today through no fault of my own that i did not have enough funds to pay my direct debit today. I took steps to get money into my account to pay them, when i had a text from my bank advising me of my shortfall. i am due into hospital within 2 weeks time, spinal surgery. i am on a heavy dose of pain relief , including morphine, Anyway i rang them up. and was put through to a customer service agent called Gary, He seemed to understand my situation, i asked if i could pay within a week. Knowing that they would charge me £30, if the payment was not received. i dont believe in sticking my head in the sand , and try to honour my responsibility's. He said hold on i will speak to my manager, PAUL, Came back and told me that Paul said no, What a friendly caring he turned out to be. Lovely customer care, as usual this guy called Paul , only passed on the message , not told me himself. They had no intention of trying to help me, instead only thinking of there £30. I spend 24 hours a day i acute agony due to a spinal injury . and i only asked for a slight delay in payment,, i had no intention of not paying, BEWARE ALL , CUSTOMER COMPASSION RATES AT -5. NOW THEY COMPLAIN TO TRUSTPILOT , ,, IT HURTS THEM TO HEAR THE TRUTH, WHERE THERE ARE NUMEROUS MORE COMPLAINTS. YOU HVE TO LAUGH REALLY , THEY THINK THEY CAN TREAT YOU BADLY ,, AND SILENCE YOU, , OH AND GUESS WHAT WAS PROMISED A PHONE CALL WITHIN 48 HOURS OF MY CALL,,,, GUESS WHAT ALL ,, NO CALL TO ME,,, SUPRISE SUPRISE,,
