Lovely bar with helpful and knowledgeable staff. Great range of ales. A must when in Edinburgh

Beer might be a bit pricey but it’s a pleasure to try the variety of beers they have . Some of them unique and brewed in a traditional way .  Service is normally friendly and attentive .

Excellent service and a really friendly atmosphere. The pub is next to a church hence the name cloisters and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Lovely pub. There's not much seating so be prepared to stand. Different fries are amazing, if you're in a group make sure you get a couple of flavours to share.

Best pub in town. Always a fantastic selection of ales / beers and whisky. Very relaxed atmosphere coupled with excellent service

Well-kept beer, with a good selection on hand pump too. Nice variety of IPAs and darker beers. Spacious, but not too much seating, so prepare to stand if busy. Friendly staff and could do the 'try before you buy' tasting. Spent an agreeable 2 hours sipping away at my brew and reading my book.

Love this place. Calm and cool, very good beers! I recommend it lots. The bartenders are the sweetest!
