Lindsey coloured my hair for the second time. I’ve been gradually going from box dye black that I did myself for 10 years, to light enough to eventually have a bright/neon colour. Lindsey has done this lightening in a safe way meaning I’ve had no breakage or hair loss and my hair is so thin so this is a miracle!! I’m currently a lovely light/caramel brown shade and will not hesitate to book my next lightening or colour apt with Lindsey. Laura cut my hair and understood exactly what I wanted. Before doing any cutting she showed me her ideas in the mirror first to make sure I was happy. She knew lots of techniques to make the most of my thin, fine hair and as a result my hair looks much thicker and the cut has given me a much more current look than my previous cut. She styled it exactly how I wanted too. As above, I would not hesitate to book again with Laura. Thank you both!Services: Hairstyling
Brilliant Salon. Great Staff and really listen to you. Went for a redesign and am so happy with the results. Would highly recommend Clipso as a hairdressers especially Leah.

I asked for full head highlights and tint but hair is just one block colour of blonde and can still see grey roots! Looks awful and the owner was very rude, definitely wouldn’t recommend!Service: Hair coloring
Unfortunately not the best haircut or experience. The stylist was super lovely, however I asked for 'Brigitte Bardot' and I don't think she knows who that is, as I'm sorry to say I came away with a haircut reminiscent of a cheap Queen Cleopatra wig. I had to come home and redo a lot of it. Sadly the stylist also didn't think to ask how I wanted the style finished - she just straightened it along with the very short fringe which is a way in which I would never wear my hair. The young lady responsible for washing hair and providing refreshments also seemed a tad forgetful as she had offered water but needed to be reminded later on, which made me feel very awkward to have to do. All in all these are very small issues in the grand scheme of things and hair always grows back so no major harm done. However for something that cost £50 and I did to treat myself, I did expect a better experience. The issues are also partly on me for not showing the stylist photos of how I wanted it and for not saying anything at the time. But you know how it goes...panic sets in, you smile, grit your teeth, pay and flee.Service: Hairstyling
I've been going to Clipso for 4 or 5 years now! This is a review following my recent haircut with the salon. The girl at the desk was lovely when she took my call and successfully booked me in for an emergency appointment. Whenever I come in I feel like a princess! I've always had lovely experiences at the salon with Beth, Laura and Lindsay. The rest of the team members are also always smiling, helpful, and just lovely to interact with in general. Five stars from me! :
Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant service. I had my cut last week and wasn't very keen or happy with it. They very kindly invited me back they colored my hair and it made such a difference in it I love the colour and style. They didn't charge me anything for the colour which was so unexpected and very much appreciated. Thank you so much for making me happy.....highly recommend clipso xxx
I can't rate them enough. From the minute you walk through the door to the moment you leave you are treated with politeness and care. They took the time to listen to my needs and wants and gave me the best colour and cut I've ever had. Julie, the stylist was really friendly and professional and extremely talented. They took every precaution they could to keep you safe amidst the Covid crisis. Can't wait to go back.
If you want a top-class colour or cut from friendly staff, this is the place to go. I have tried many salons in my lifetime but, after having my hair cut here, I haven’t bothered trying anywhere else. And that was 16 years ago. There’s no point - you can’t get better. For that reason, my daughters have only ever had their hair cut here. They’re now 13 & 16. Not one of us has EVER come away with anything other than a fantastic cut. All three of us love the compliments we get from friends and sometimes even strangers after a cut. The feel-good factor starts in the salon & lasts for weeks afterwards. The Google comments regarding ‘feeling intimidated’ must relate to the reviewers’ self-esteem, not the ambience of the salon. The first time I walked in 16 years ago, I worried I would feel the same, but the staff made me feel at ease so quickly that it only lasted the few steps from the front door to the reception desk. Everyone makes you feel special - the receptionist, the colourist, the hair washer, the stylist. I always come away having had a deep & meaningful conversation or a session full of belly-laughs today, I had both - thanks Linzi & Anna!. My daughter has regularly popped in after school ON HER OWN for a fringe trim for the past couple of years - no 14 year old would do that if they felt at all ‘intimidated’. If you want cheap & nasty, this isn’t the place for you. If you treasure your hair and want to get what you pay for, you can’t do better.
