Climate by Design installed four units in our house 7 years ago and have been servicing them every 18 - 24 months since then. From the moment they presented the original quote (with clear explanations as to why different type units were needed in different rooms) to the moment they closed the door when the last service was completed it has been a pleasure dealing with them - extremely professional, competitively priced, attentive, great communication via email and on-site. It is a family run company with exceptional service - dad and two sons take care of everything and you know you are in good hands.

We used CBD for our office during last summer where we moved in to new premises. We were told the last Tenants of the unit just had fans.. after seeing 35 degrees there we had to do something as people were melting!!! Within days they came and fitted a full system and at the end of the week all offices had full local control as well as the main space at a workable temperature. -- Following on from this I asked if they could look at my house where the Bedrooms where subject to heat from a Glass roof on the ground floor. - the system was fitted to fit in to the rooms and as before the standard of work in just amazing. Very neat and thought out. Now we have Cooling and Heating in a local space - Thank you!

We have used this company several times for both our home and our offices. Their prices are always competitive, and the guys that come and install or service are very good, prompt and very tidy. Will use again and would recommend to anyone.

I have a 4kw Solar Panel Photo-generation installation of which I wanted to make maximum use. Additionally, my wife has a neurological condition which is exacerbated by hot weather. Accordingly I sought the services of a local air-conditioning installer and Climate By Design was my eventual choice because: firstly their website information link worked; secondly the owner of the company came to my house for the survey within two days of my query, and provided their proposal the next day, which covered all the detail we had discussed and provided technical information to enhance my understanding of the equipment; finally their price was very competitive with a 5 year warrantee. The installation was carried out within 5 days of my accepting their proposal by the owner's two sons. I am a retired senior RAF Engineering Officer, and I am able to recognize professional technicians. The installation team was outstanding, I have never seen such tidy and well organized activity outside my military maintenance teams. They worked hard without fuss or bother, and wasted no time on their task in hand. At the end of a successful installation they even replaced the furniture which I had moved to provide access for indoor unit installation. Their Father should be justly proud of their skills, they have an obvious pride in their craftsmanship and a vested interest in the quality of their work. I now have the ability to heat or cool my house with equipment that is well within the generating capability of my solar panel set - thus I can run it for free under reasonable sunny conditions; free cooling in the summer and free heating in the winter. The external unit is exceptionally quiet, the fan can only just be heard from 2 feet away, and the coolant compressor is totally silent. The inner unit has some fan noise when set to full power, but this can be controlled by user settings, or when the unit goes into temperature maintenance mode with automatically set lower fan usage. If you have solar photo-generating panels, then it is well worth while to add this form of climate conditioning equipment to fully exploit the potential capability of your panel set. I have only highest regard for this company and strongly recommend them to any prospective customer. December 2016 Update The system performance in conjunction with the solar panel set is impressive, in mid December on a reasonably sunny day, once the panels were generating more that 1Kw we could switch the system on and heat the ground floor for free, the Fujitsu system has an “economy” setting which reduces input power demand. On a really bright day, by noon, we were heating the house and were exporting 1.6Kw into the national grid. At the shortest time of the year we were getting 6 hours per day of free heat. In the summer we will have virtually unlimited power available for the potential cooling available, in the meantime we are enjoying the heat! Sqn Ldr V R Denwood MBE RAF (Retd)
