Very unpleasant‘welcome’ when I went to pay for parking by a man who proceeded to complain about a group of walkers who hadn’t notified him in advance that they wished to park! He told us we couldn’t use the toilet as it was ‘out of order’ but when we returned a couple of hours later, they were open and working. The other car park attendant was friendly and affable but we didn’t bother to use the cafe after our initial experience!
Stayed here recently in our campervan. £10 for the night, parked right on the cliff top with amazing views. Also right alongside the Wales coastal path. Access to the toilet block during the night and great little cafe for snacks and drinks. Highly recommended!
Turned up but it was closed. Some great views, bit of a cheek though with respect to the cafe car park. Charging £3...Atmosphere: 4/5
Very grumpy person at the counter but he cheered up a little when I thanked him for the great cup of tea. Sometimes people just need some kind words as they probably don’t get many. Just cakes and snacks when I visited and a bigger cooked breakfast would have been nice but you take what you can get when walking and wild camping in the WCP.
Lady in the shop is super friendly, great views. Perfect place for a short stopover or a longer stay.
A small shed structure that offers refreshments and toilet facilities on an otherwise isolated stretch of coastline. People are drawn to the location for the views, walks and close proximity to Nash Point lighthouse. There is a small associated parking area that levies a £3 charge when the cafe is open which is not always the case in the winter months.
Lovely views of the bay from the café, £3 parkingFood: 5/5
Good views, easy access toilet but staff are absolutely shocking with customer service, homeless man smoking pot who claimed to know the owner told us off for having a small fire when there is no information on having fires ruining the atmosphere/mood. Owner was rude and uninterested in serving with any respect.
Owner not very friendly. Found him abrupt However location stunningService: 3/5
Best Welsh cakes I've ever eaten, apparently made locally in the village. Bacon rolls also a great snack, made up for the disappointment that they had sold out of cheeseburgers at the weekend. Apparently 'Milky Coffee' is a bit like a latte, but not quite, more like a hot milky drink your Grandmother would make, with a bit of coffee in. Great views and nice walks along the cliffs.
