A fantastic independent bookshop. Great selection of high quality authors, and a good children's section. The owner is also very knowledgeable and helpful when you're looking for something specific. It may look small, but there's a deceptively wise range of topics on offer. You will always be surprised when you visit! Look out for author visits too. Highly recommended.

Visited today for their opening, what a fantastic bookshop! An excellent range of books for all ages. My 9yo son loved the kids section and easily found a selection of books he wanted. Service was very friendly and it's clear that a huge amount of work has gone into this place. Definitely worth a visit from any nearby booklovers!
Really nice local bookshop. We popped in quite late in the day so sadly did not I have as much time to browse as I would like. It isn't big, but has a nicely curated selection of books, and I could have bought more than the one I did. Very friendly place and had a nice chat to the owner.
Visit Okehampton regularly and on this occasion was looking for a particular read. Found this delightful store and was greeted by the friendly, helpful owner who pointed out the latest reference book I was hoping to find. Recommend a visit - sure to find what you're looking for..

Good to have a new independent book shop and this one looks fairly promising although they could at least put your new book in a paper bag to protect it.
