Extremely disappointing customer service. Had a quotation in October 2017 for £2.5k and they have since been chasing me for the business. They offered me a 10% discount as a promotion in January, which I thought, was appealing. However, when the discounted quoted was received, the original price was increased to £2.9k. When I brought it up with them, they claimed that the original quote was a mistake and there is no room for compromise. They were completely misleading, which led me to believe, if this is the service at the beginning of an order, what will it be like at time of processing the order and installation.

We requested for  quotes from 3 shutter companies for our home about 4 months ago. 2 of the companies had a delivery time of 4-5 weeks and they were still significantly better priced than Clement Browne. We were initially leaning more towards these other smaller companies because of the delivery time they had. At this juncture, CB proposed delivery by Air freight express as they called it which just about doubled their quote in order to deliver in 4 weeks. Sadly, we bought the marketing and branding gimmicks by Clement Browne, decided to ride it out for 3 months, falsely believing that they were bigger and therefore must be better. We could not have stressed the importance of not going beyond the 3 months delivery time more than we did. This decision has turned to a horror story. During installation, CB realised they had taken the wrong measurements. The installer assured us that due to the error made by them during the survey, new shutters would be expedited so delivery would be much quicker. 3 days later, we get a call from CB stating that we would have to wait 3 months for replacement shutters because our initial order was by sea freight, our replacement shutters could not be by air freight. We insisted on speaking with the director or someone in a position to apply logic to the entire fiasco. It's been over a week and no contact has been made by Clement Browne. Our demands for a refund have also been met by a brickwall. They've got our money, and we have bedsheets hanging all over our windows.

Great service from the entire team, all are friendly and very helpful. I like the samples sent out in the information pack, there is a great range of colours for the shutters and hinges which you don't get with some other shutter companies.
Clement Browne were very accommodating and matched price from a competitor for me. I also really like the fact that it is the actual fitter who comes out to measure and discuss the shutters. It reassured me that they would be a perfect fit when they arrived as we have an old house with wonky walls.

A very good service, I was kept informed of progress with my order and the quote and installation were excellent. I especially appreciated the fact that there was no hard sell. It was very refreshing to have the installer be the one who also quotes and for the visit to be informative but relaxed, without feeling pressure to order. This approach encouraged me to choose you to provide my shutters, and I have already recommended you to friends. I am also impressed with the quality of the shutters and the after care service promised

My Clement Browne experience was pretty perfect. Both Steve and Georgina were excellent. This will sound silly but i was pleased that Steve took his shoes off and 'respected' the house by providing dust sheets and being really careful, that was really important to me. I was most pleased with: 
1) you were not salesy or smarmy.
2) communication was good at all times. 
3) Georgina and Steve were just great, really likeable, normal people I could identify with.
4) care was taken and I could sense that it was important to you that you did a good job, clearly take pride in your product and work. 
It was just a great experience. I'm so delighted with the product, but it was made all the better by the fact that nothing was any trouble and Steve and Georgina were model professionals. I've already recommended you to neighbours and I know the things that Steve did so well, like taking shoes off and having clean dust sheets really covering all areas is important to them too - it's those little things which make it extra special.
