Took our 10 month old swimming here for first time and we all loved it. They have a small pool for younger ones which was great to start him off in and then we progressed to the main pool.

I like this swimming pool because it is a carbon copy to the one I used to swim at before I moved out. At least the wave machine works better than the other leisure centre suggesting it has been maintained for an identical system after enquiring about it's mechanics. The leisure center as a whole it is a lovely place, the building design is also very similar to the previous leisure centre. If you want the Letchworth feel, then come here for it. Their alarm to sound for the wave machine reminds me of Letchworth's old alarm for calling people with certain colour bands out of the pool.

Decent facilities overall. The swimming pool is well maintained and cared for, very large size with a wave feature for the kids at certain intervals. It also has a slide and separate swimming area for infants. The outside is newly refurbished and looks fairly modern, yet still manages to blend in to the beautiful scenery that surrounds it. The leisure centre itself has an adult and junior gym with plenty of cardio and free weight machines/equipment, the equipment itself is of fairly decent quality, some things a little outdated however it all still does the job it's supposed to! They also have squash and badminton courts to rent out, along with numerous clubs and activities that take place inside the leisure centre. The prices are average, however I can not comment on the price of food and drink.

Recently refurbished, a couple years back now. Unisex changing facilities, they could do with more family cubicles as at time you can be stood around waiting a while... Still got the good old wave machine but the slide has become considerably smaller since the refurb. The schedule is also a bit of a pain, when many classes cutting swimming session in half... All info can be found on their site. Not the best pool but given the other local choice, I'd pick this one every time.

Was joining here when it first re-decorated. It was like brand new, good facilities and everything clean. I’m not blaming whoever doing the tidying or cleaning bits maybe the janitors? I was blaming whoever the public to use the facilities because gradually, the changing area gets really smelly, the shower area like for example the shower screen or handles they were all broken.... it’s just down to the people who thought it’s not their own properties so can’t be bothered to keep the things in a good condition! However, it’s all got recovered recently especially the really stinky smell caused by people just “weeing in the changing area on the floor rather than using the toilet down at the bottom part of the changing room!”and hence, we have a good place again to enjoy our leisure activities!
