The hotel itself is very nice and well cared for. The staff are excellent - every single person I interacted with genuinely seemed to care about my experience and were super polite.nnDownsides - the other guests. People - the doors are SOFT CLOSING - you don't need to slam them into oblivion shaking the walls and waking everyone up within 15 metres of your room. Have some consideration and gently pull the door to. It was like bombs going off all night when one bus arrived. Zero compassion for others.nnThe food selection at the restaurant is limited and very expensive, though perfeclty tasty. I would like a breakfast option for people who just want a light bite and coffee and not spend 19 EUROS for food they won't eat.
Stayed here for one night due to easy access to transport amenities. Also, very easy to reach by Aircoach from Dublin airport.nnAt check in, I was greeted by Jesus And I double checked his name! who was very helpful with providing an early check in. The staff in general were also great and always helpful.nnAs highlighted in other reviews, the rooms could do with a bit of TLC. For e.g. bathroom fittings were rusty, carpets needs to be cleaned thoroughly.nnThey have three elevators - One of which was out of service. Ended up waiting for quite some time in the morning for the elevator to arrive as the same elevators are also used by the service staff with their trolleys. There are 72 rooms on each floor and the hotel is over 7 floors...two elevators are definitely not enough.nnQuality of food at breakfast could be really improved. Scrambled eggs were watery and the bakery items were hard to eat!
Convenient location and easy access to main roads. There seems to be a bus to/from the airport, too, although I'm not sure of the details. Staff was excellent and the service was top notch, too. The rooms were comfortable and plenty spacious we had a party of six. The restaurant menu is pretty varied and offers lots of options. The breakfast also had lots of options available - including gluten free and vegetarian options.
Lovely room. Spacious. Expected a kettle and tea bags at least and some bottled water. I read 'luxurious toiletries' on website but got pumps of soap/shampoo where I maybe expected some body cream and a few other bits, at very least a box of tissues so I didn't need to use the cheap TP to blow my nose. Very clear that the expectation is that we buy everything from the vending machines on every floor. No fridge in room, no room service menu and the QR code didn't work. Bar very expensive. €9.5o for a medium glass of wine is a rip off. Also, I explained when we checked in that we were staying here because it is close the hospital where my partner is having surgery and we only just read that u give discounts for hospital stays. The response was, 'at least u know for next time'....the right response would been, 'i am sorry u booked through an outside party...let us cover your parking or give u a room upgrade. But alas no.
Beautiful decor and dining areas. Excellent breakfast. Our room was disappointing as it was old fashioned and basic compared to the high end look downstairs, and the view was just of the walls and other windows of the hotel. No air conditioning control just a fan. Very comfortable beds though and peaceful stay. Price of wine by the glass too expensive. Staff very pleasant and helpful.
