Lovely site and will be visiting again. Warm clean toilets and showers. Very friendly staff. Nice pub on grounds with very nice food. The pub had friendly staff and was very clean. Big pitches and well maintained grounds. Not too close together. There are statics on this site and also lots of permanent sited tourers. But of a park for kids and plenty grass for them to play on. Loads to see nearby for trips off site. Beautiful area. Easy to get to. Narrow track leading to farm but no prob as it is straight and you can see if anyone is coming. Only one issue that may bother you, it wasn't an issue for us, the train line is nearby and you can hear them go by frequently. There are also large pylons very close. We will be back and would recommend highly.

Not too far from home for me but love this site. We've been taking our lad here since he was 9 and it's always his first choice for a night away. Seen a couple of reviews that mention nothing to do for kids, it's a quiet site in the countryside next to a river with lovely access paths so loads of skimming to be done, fishing in the ponds and a pay park with a few swings etc. Admittedly no amusement arcades etc (thank god) but with a midges of imagination there's loads for kids. Toilet block is near the main entrance, toilets and showers spotless, pitches laid out well( bit of mud sometimes...blame the weather). Stepping stones bar and restaurant on the site is well priced and great food. Only niggle is the narrow access road which will only accept one van at a time up the hill. Other than that great little site.

Lovely campsite, not far from the M6 but can't hear it. Showers are spotless, heated and lovely and hot. Onsite resturant and bar, very friendly and lovely food. Bus stop just at the end of the lane, just a couple of pound into Garstang.
