Beautiful place with very lovely team. Unfortunately my mussels were definitely expired. And food was too pricey for what we received. We also ordered lamb tagine, which wasn’t lamb. It was four pieces of beef. We came there all the way from Wareham, as on the website you can see that they are serving steak, WHICH THEY DONT. Service charge is included but you have to order at the counter… They have to calculate their strengths for intentions.
Only stopped for refreshing drink after a lovely walk around Kimmeridge. £6 for a Pimm's and Lemonade but worth every penny. Great service and really friendly staff. Most enjoyable experience.Service: 5/5
What a gem of a place in a beautiful setting. The service is superb; welcoming, helpful and efficient. The menu offers a great choice for vegans and even offers a mouthwatering vegan and gluten free dessert. All the dishes were well presented, beautifully cooked and tasty. I had the Gluten Free chicken Curry and it was very good, nicely spiced, not too hot and creamy which is just how I like it.
Lovely restaurant in a pretty village. Excellent food and good service morning brunch and mains after 12 pm . Indoor and outdoor seating gets busy in good weather. Parking and toilets drinking water dispenser. And ice cream stall. The Eggs Royal really very good.
Revisit to Clavells after a long time. Since last visit it has been renovated very tastefully. Love the colour scheme and shiny varnished table tops. Always busy especially as it was half term. Food and service was excellent. Again we will be back as it is local to us. Recommend this place to any one local and visitors to the area. Also a nice quiet village to walk from to the sea and coast path.

My daughter and I both had a delicious lunch with a mocktail. Scampi the best for a long time and a very delicious fish finger sandwich. The restaurant was very well run and all the staff were friendly and efficient. Thank you very much.
This used to be a nice little country pub, now there is just something off with it...i can't put my finger on what that is but it just isn't a nice place anymore. Also far too overpriced for what you actually get. Average food at bestFood: 3/5

Very busy and intense. Slightly understaffed on a busy Sunday lunchtime. Online menu not available when we visited but alternatives were good. Food was very good, as expected, but the atmosphere was not good at all for some reason. Won't rush back but won't stay away either. Vegetarian options: Expected menu from website not available but alternative offered was very good. Parking: Good sized car parks. Would be impossible to visit without really.
