Overall, it was an excellent service from start to finish. The office staff were really good and very friendly and professional. They had great product knowledge and made sure that we were kept fully informed about the product, in this case a new Rockdoor and a replacement window panel, alongwith outlining the whole process involved in designing the door and in having it fitted. After a bit of an initial hiccup in having our order drawn up to our exact specifications, the surveyor then called to the house and measured everything, and checked for any possible problems. The surveyor was very pleasant and knowledgeable and really ensured that our final order reflected what we wanted. He also allowed us to make any last-minute changes and answered any questions that we had before a final contract was drawn up. The fitters turned up promptly, were very pleasant, did a clean job, and were very professional in every aspect. They did a first class job without any mess or fuss. The whole process from choosing, fitting, and paying went very, very smoothly, and to the agreed time frame and cost. We, my wife and I, are very, very pleased with the finished job and would recommend Classic Windows to anyone seeking a new door at a very competitive price. We have no complaints at all and really cannot thank Classic Windows enough - so, many thanks and carry on the great work.
Brilliant company to do business with friendly polite and efficient. Initial measurements were done quickly with the minimum of disruption. Booking was efficient and Jane kept me informed throughout. The fit was done over 3 days by a very friendly team. I work at home so they were very mindful not to create disruption. The team were always punctual and polite and spotlessly tidy. I would not hesitate to recommend Classic Windows to friends and family.
Just to warn others it’s only open by appointment on a Saturday which wasn’t clear on the google information. Just drove 40 minutes to find it shut. Quite frustrating
The Team at Classic Windows did a fantastic job with my parents conservatory. Apart from a few understandable delays due to Covid everything went very smoothly. All the trades involved were first class and we are so impressed with the end result. Brilliant communication throughout and highly recommended. Thanks again
Had a new patio door and full-length window in dining room. Got a quote off Safestyle first which was a nightmare, more than double the price of Classic. Classic give you one fair price, no messing about, and leave it with you - no hassling you on the phone/email. Guy who came to do final measurements very pleasant, fitters did a great job and didn't leave a mess. Fensa certs etc came through promptly after. Socially distant at all times etc. Only down side is we're having to wait til next year to get next room done as they're so busy!
Accepted a quote for a small job to be done which involved changing a door panel with a cat flap. I thought the price was high, but was told the panel was in stock and the fitting would take at least 2 hours because the entire door would need adjusting. The fitting took around 5 minutes, not 2 hours so I queried the price. Was informed that the panel was ordered by express delivery, not in stock and the cost included a call-out charge which was never mentioned to me. Rude and arrogant salesman. Will certainly not use again and will not recommend. Rip-off merchants.
Great service from Dronfield Classic windows. We were given a timeline from measuring to installation of door and window, the consultant gave excellent advice on what would suit the property, he didn't try to sell us the most expensive. The new front door and replacement window looks great! Thanks very much.
I managed to purchase a new window handle to replace one of the original old window handle with the alloy key.
Well I don't know how Judi who gave 1 star managed to find the poor service she claims to have had, but I've now had quotes for about 7 jobs form Classic, and gone ahead with 3 - the biggest three by far - and apart from a delay to one job caused by a 3rd party supplier letting Classic down, everything has been 100% perfect and extremely good value and highly competative compared to the major national window companies and the biggest local compitors. Unless something goes drasticaly wrong with the next major job they're doing for me I can't see me ever wanting to give less than 5 stars and I do and will continue to recommend classic to everyone. Ignore the whingers is what I say!
Brilliant replacement for a conservatory destroyed by a falling tree. From the beginning planning stage through construction to the final product the company and the workforce were outstanding.
