The team at Clarkson Evans were the first to pick their local hospitals as charity of the year, and have given incredible support to our Focus fund for local cancer patients. They have been raising funds through innovative events organised by staff - from beach themed days to auctions and soaking their directors! There is a fantastic team spirit at the company and as a charity team we love working with them. The team are also giving hands-on support to the charity by directly helping us in areas such as design. As a small charity this makes a real impact on our work and it is great to see the staff getting directly involved and visiting the hospitals to see first-hand the impact their support makes.

I’ve worked for Clarkson Evans for a couple of years now and have been given a lot of opportunities to get involved with different tasks and events, enhancing my skills and allowing me to develop as a person. I enjoy working here and although it can be a challenging industry, we all do our very best each day. The one thing that I really like about working here though is the fact that the company offers so many opportunities for people to learn a valuable new trade. For many apprentices (both old and young) it is a lot more than just a job, it’s the chance to make a change in their lives and set themselves up with a lifelong career. Yes it can be hard work but I think that the rewards are worth every effort.

Job Title: Apprentice IT Technician Start Date: 08/08/2016 During my months at Clarkson Evans I have learnt a huge amount about IT. Thanks to the great support from my manager and the Apprenticeship management team I have developed a huge number of skills including communication and IT diagnostics. This has hugely boosted my confidence and I can't wait to progress in the company. With regards to other comments about wages. I don't get paid a huge amount but that is because of my experience as an IT technician, pay reviews are once a year so there is plenty of opportunity for a pay rise if you work hard. I completely recommend Clarkson Evans as an employer as we are an expanding company with a lot of potential.

Excellent company with great opportunities to progress. I started here as an apprentice and have worked my way up the ladder to Area Supervisor. If you have the right attitude and determination you can have a long and successful career with Clarkson Evans.
