The customer service here is awful! I visited today, needed help finding a stud for my helix piercing- when I asked for help the girl at the till said 'it's whatever's there' I waited for her to come round but she ignored my presence and carried on talking with her colleague like she didn't want to acknowledge me. She didn't once ask if I needed any help even with the shop being so quiet. I was appalled as I haven't ever had this experience previously at Claire's, I wouldn't visit again!
I got my ears pierced from this store and was really shocked at the outcome. On the day of getting my piercings l was instructed to put the solution on three times a day for three weeks which l made sure l did and was told l could take out my piercings after three weeks. However l decided to leave them in for five weeks to be on the safe side.The solution led my ears to become dry and flaky but l still carried on using it as l didn't want any issues with the piercings. When l decided to change them for a wedding they would not move at all leaving me with sore, red ears so l emailed claires and they responded by saying the piercings are supposed to stay in for six weeks which means l was given the wrong information. Eventually after 8 weeks when my mum managed to take the piercings out she told me that scabs had formed in the pierced areas causing the process to be extremely painful for me. I assumed it to be a one off and replaced the studs with another pair l got from claires, however, the same thing happened over and over again each time l changed my studs. It's been 7 months since getting my piercings and the process of putting them in and taking them out is really painful. I can honestly say l fully adhered to the instructions given to me yet l am having these issues. I would not recommend getting piercings or any sorts of earrings from claires.
Worst customer service ever!! Don’t ever get your ears pierced from here especially for you baby. Lack of information and the manager specifically spoke so rudely. The manager provided false info and then mentioned we haven’t booked an appointment when an appointment was clearly booked and we had evidence. Also, the manager asked for the baby’s vaccination book and said she won’t do the piercing without the book. This wasn’t mentioned when we arranged the appointment and the manager said she will only do the piercing if the book doesn’t get here within 20 seconds. Really not sure how someone can drive home and get a red book in 20 seconds. We managed to get the book around 3:32 when the appointment was booked for 3:30. The manager said she won’t do the piercing because it came after half three and that she has another customers appointment booked for half 3. Don’t understand how that makes sense when she clearly said your appointment was for half three and because we came at 10 past three she herself said you have come early so have to wait for your appointment. It was CLEARLY their mistake but the manager was not accepting it and spoke to us sooo rudely. She wears glasses and is tall.l, and the worker present was short with blonde hair. Both were very rude and unprofessional. Claire needs to train their workers well or employ honest workers who know how to communicate with workers. This was at the Claire’s in Broadway Bradford. I would suggest not to get your ears pierced done by there especially for your baby. There’s no point paying so much for a piercing when the customer service is very BAD.
Awful experience taking my daughter to have her ears pierced Someone more senior seriously needs to have a word with the Manager there! short cut hair and glasses She’s absolutely vile. How on earth have they put her in that role! Firstly her energy and attitude was so unwelcoming from the moment we went into the store, huffing and puffing all over the place , she was clearly in a bad mood. Everything was an effort she had no patience with my little girl and in general made everything seem a challenge . What a negative individual Also, I’d like to mention she told The lady carrying out the piercing that she would dock her wages as she had opened the earrings packet , which apparently you shouldn’t open until you are ready to make the peircing, if this is the case surely it’s not professional to be verbalising this INFRONT OF A CUSTOMER! In my eyes I felt that kind of behaviour is classed as bullying a coworker and if I was that girl I’d be putting in a formal complaint to HR. Anyway my daughter , who by the way is only 1 , was screaming her little heart out and she’s never ever like that but she probably picked up on the awful atmosphere in there ,as she wouldn’t let the manager come anywhere near her! I won’t ever be going to that branch again ! Shocking shocking shocking!
Michelle was working in the store alone managing customers while piercing my 2 year olds ears. She was fantastic at keeping her calm and entertained. Really amazing staff member. So impressed!
Rude manager looked very unapproachable and moody my daughter loves to shop at claires but didn't feel the warm welcome we would normally get within other branches, wont be shopping here again.
We arrived late for our ear piercing appointment around 4.30 yesterday, which I fully accept we were late but the tone in which the lady wearing a red checkered shirt we spoke was very rude. She was so short and abrupt and had the worst attitude. I’m actually glad we arrived late and my daughter didn’t get her ears pierced by her. My husband and I are both doctors and would never dream of talking to patients in that manner! I hope she doesn’t get a doctor who treats her in the same manner she treats others!
Only 2 members of staff on the shop floor- both helping with piercings. Meaning myself and another customer were stood waiting for a good few minutes. When the server did come to help there was no apology- which was disappointing.
