Nice beach area near the pier, shops near by as well as children's amusements parking near by the pier if you are lucky enough to find a spot or be prepared for bit of a walk, parking is free from 6pm so only pay up untill and not for the full day as can be costly. Like most beaches does not have running water to clean your self down and the public toilets were quite dirty. Otherwise the beach area is fine.
A really good family day out. Just the rollercoaster last only a few seconds. Also my fish wasn't cooked properly, but my husband 's burger and the children meals were good and the portions were big. Almost forgot, they have a small aquarium very interesting.
Lovely pier, plenty of entertainment for all of the family. Definitely a few hours worth anyway. We didn't go on the rides but you can purchase saver tickets, golf and go karts are inside too. Busy when we visited in the summer but wasn't unbearable. Definitely a nice little day out.
Really good choice of arcade machines. Great that you can go on the pier for free and then pay for rides and arcades that you want. The aquarium is good and loved the crazy golf and both worth the money. Also, really Impressed how clean everything is.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
Took my 2 youngest children 15 & 13 for an afternoon out as they Don't like being seen with mum & dad anymore & they throughly enjoyed themselves. They both chose what they wanted to do & had some fun in the process. It was busy but bearable, we finished the evening off with fish & chips from the chip shop attached to the pier which were bloody lovely & sat on the beach eating them while waiting for the fireworks to go off, an amazing finish to a wonderful afternoon/evening out.
My visit to Clacton-on-Sea, and Clacton Pier. I loved it. It is shame that a lot people do not really visit this part of the Country. Hence my advice to anyone reading this, this is a guaranteed place to visit in the summer. The weather is lovely, the beach, sea and waves is one to remember. A delightful place in the sun. I recommend 100%.
Amazing venue. So clean and well run, lovely to see it evolve over the years. Never fails to disappoint. It's the perfect family day out. All you can want under one roof, well and outside : live music gives a great vibe too.
Visited on a Bank Holiday weekend and it was very busy. The kids went on several rides and had to queue about 10/15 minutes. Plenty of places to get food, drinks, ice creams etc. Big arcade with lots of interactive games. Thought I’d was really good. A soft/adventure play area with lots to do and value for money. Not so sure about the pricing for a wrist band or tokens to rides. Especially for kids under 1.4m. So choose wisely how you pay and play. It’s a complex mix of choices. Loads to do though and can keep you in one place for much of the day.
Clacton Pier amazing place for having fun with friends , kids . Delicious food , friendly stuff . Bowling , billiards , mini golf , soft play were our favourite activity. Lots of fun . Best price for everything. I recommend . All clean and impeccable looking. Love it.
