Fantastic time here. Very supportive of your fitness journey. It’s a proper gym, no gimmicks, a good place for people who want to work out individually or under a PT. Had the benefit of being part of their Woman’s only PT group - where I not only got put through my paces - learned about proper technique, so I feel more confident going to the weights section in the gym!! Which is everything.
I joined Citypark female only group PT in May. Jessica was the PT for my sessions and she is amazing. I never thought I would be able to go into a weights section of a gym with confidence but my time in her class taught me everything I need to know. I really cannot recommend joining Jess’ class enough. Going into the first session I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I would really recommend going to all the sessions and being consistent. Leg day is by far the hardest so if you can get through that then you can do anything. Price wise, GPT is great value for money when the staff and facilities are impeccable. Thank you sm :
I would highly recommend citypark girls classes and gym . From my 1st enquiry everything was straightforward amd set for me by Tom the manager who I can't thank enough for his fast responses to changing things short notice and generally making it a very enjoyable experience. Being mid 40s and not exercised in quite a few years ... on my 1st session I was nervous and quiet as i was total out ny comfort zone and within mins of meeting phillippa that totally went and I felt at easy I've just finished my 1st 4 weeks and I look forward to every session she's a credit to the gym and Tom . Very professional and extremely good at what they do . They definitely make you feel they are invested in you thanks so much and hears to the 2nd month.
Joined as a member in September and started the female only group PT in January with Lisa who is brilliant, causes my quads great pain but has gotten all my lifts up and has been more than helpful. The gym itself has more squat racks than cardio machines a rarity so you can always find one even at peak times. The group PT I'd really recommend if you struggle to workout a routine or increase the weights each week and the group are very welcoming
I joined City Park Fitness in March and started doing female group pt with Jane 3 times a week. The sessions have kept me in a routine that I would have otherwise lost going it alone. The support from Jane has also been excellent. I have been taught the correct form and I feel encouraged to push myself which again, I wouldn’t do if I was going it alone. I’m feeling much more confident in my ability since coming to the sessions, thank you!
Joined city park fitness with the female group PT sessions last year, so glad I did it. As it was 3 sessions per week I was so much more motivated to come to the gym and the group aspect made me push to improve every week. The sessions went in really quickly and were always enjoyable even when they were tough. Would highly recommend the gym and group PT to anyone looking to make progress
I've been going to Female only PT group coached by Lisa for a couple of weeks now. I can already feel and see the difference in my body and wellbeing. It is a good starting point if you feel gym anxiety because you're new to the gym or haven't been to it in a while. It's very positive and motivating group to push you become more stronger and achieve more than you thought you could. Highly recommend it to everyone.
