Great 9 hole golf course. Holes aren't particularly long, so you don't need to be a big hitter, but some tight fairways make it challenging.
Played today in the sun, then rain, then sun, then rain but still had fun. I've just started playing again after 5 knee surgerys and though it was just lovely that receptionist came out after playing the nine holes to see how my leg was holding up! The personal touch goes a long way. Probably heading back on Friday!
Well maintained golf course
Don't think i have ever played a golf course in worse condition than what i played there tonight. Terrible greens, terrible fairways, terrible tee boxes. There was a time when this was an enjoyable course to play, but it has severely went to the dogs. Considering you can book a first class course online with sites like golf now for a couple of pound more than the green fees here i can safely say i won't be back.
The course will never be Augusta national : , but value for money and friendly atmosphere more than make up for any shortcomings. More challenging than you would expect and would test golfers of all abilities. Worth a visit!
Every fairway is covered in sand like playing in a bunker everywhere. Then covered are balls while he was spreading the sand. greens are very hard and very slow ball taking really bad bounces and stopping dead on slops
Course was very well maintained and looked and played amazing
£10 seems good value. Bit of a walk between some of the holes. Take a ball retreiver thing to get half a dozen freebies on your way round from the river.
So long as you don't expect fairways like Augusta, this is a pleasant course with very friendly and welcoming staff. Recommended!
Had a great day today at mallusk. Staff very friendly course was in excellent condition weather certainly helped
