First visit today. We did the Christmas Bauble Trail which was fantastic. Great gift shop and enthusiastic staff.
Loved it. Very accessible, with lots to see and staff were very helpful!!
Small Museum, Free Entry but has some paid exhibitions, a nice variety of local artifacts, centrally located a nice way to spend a few hours worth checking the website cos it has lots for the kids to do in holidays
Lovely place and free entry! For a fun hour or two, with lots for little ones to do!
We visited here for a cheap day out. The moon exhibition is 3.50 adult 1.50 child entry but the rest of the museum was free. It was good to pass the time with and my little lad enjoyed the exhibitions on show. I felt that the moon exhibition could have been better.
Visited today with two friends . Enjoyed the experience thoroughly. Thoughtfully arranged exhibits from prehistoric times to Victorian era. Lots for children to see and do ie brass rubbing, colouring and some interactive things.Nice little cafe and gift shop.Very friendly informative staff. Well done!
This is an absolute gem of a wet weather child friendly place. There is so much to see and do, my kids absolutely love it. There’s some genuinely really interesting history here and you can easily spend 2-3 hours here with little ones. Really recommend it as somewhere to go, my kids favourite are all the dinosaurs!
