I had a great experience parking here. I pre-booked on the CitiPark website, which was easy to use. 12 hours parking only cost me £4.80. Excellent value for money compared to London car parks. The barriers let me enter and exit automatically via license plate recognition. There was plenty of spaces considering it was a weekday morning. The car park could do with a lick of paint and some new light bulbs if that sort of thing is important to you, but it gets the job done for a very fair price. This would be a 5-star review, but the entrance to the car park is quite tight and unhelpfully discreet. And in poor luck, the CitiPark logo actually has an arrow on it, that points the opposite direction to the entrance! I was going slow and had nobody behind me, but could be easy to miss on a one-way street.
Unsafe, man clearly smoking from crack pipe at 10am Friday in the stairwell 29th June, unclean-sticky stuff all over the floors, lifts do not work. Confusing system that no one could understand, with no clear instructions, it didn’t recognise my registration. Just would not be happy leaving my car here again, certainly would not use it if I was coming into Watford in the evening for personal safety reasons.
Really handy if you want the top end of Watford and not super crowded. Only thing holding it back from a 5* is it's a bit old and the ceilings are low and badly lit and the parking bays are not well marked.

It's a great car park if you have business close by. I will be using it again. I am not tech savey, but I was able to use the app easily and it made things really easy.
