Frequently broken washing machines and dryers will often require two cycles, not one, to completely dry clothes, whether or not a light load. The bare minimum price you would pay for a wash and dry is roughly 3 pounds, but you’ll end up spending 6 to properly get your clothes clean. If you wash your clothes once a week, over the course of 6 months you’ll spend more than 120 pounds.

Very complicated to get a laundry card, then to sign up and I needed to create a paypal account just to wash my stuff. Also, very overpriced, and on top of that, you have to buy your washing detergent. Also, one day electricity had disappeared 3 times while I was doing my laundry. The laundry room gets flooded by machines that are not working properly. Dryers are also very bad and if you pick the wrong one - after an hour long cycle your clothes are going to be as wet as you just put them to dry. We are already paying a lot of money to stay in this student village, so we definetly deserve that services that are provided in it would be worth the price.

Horrible system. Too expensive for students, and machines sometimes don't work. Having no alternative but to use Circuit Laundry is a total nightmare.

Useless system. Bought a £2 card, then tried to top it up online but the site only had the PayPal option to pay (even when I clicked on credit card, NOT PayPal, it forces you to sign up/log in to PayPal). PayPal will not let you log on without a confirmation SMS, if you're from overseas. I don't carry my usual SIM card as I use a local UK one. So I had to leave, having paid £2 for a card I can't use, plus the time I wasted. Infuriating and useless. No wonder it was empty.

expensive and the machines are so small you can't put anything in, I couldn't even wash my sheets.
