We booked Violets tea room for an 80th Birthday celebration. Really pleased with the service, the folks at Violets really made every effort to make it a wonderful experience. Very generous afternoon tea, I asked for coffee and it was perfect. I'll definitely go back and have tea on the terrace with the wonderful view of low Town Bridgnorth. Booked an afternoon tea as a birthday treat for my daughter. It was lovely. Great selection of sandwiches, lovely, freshly baked scone and a generous cake selection, plus a lovely vanilla mousse. We asked for oat milk and this was no trouble. Service was amazing, attentive, but not intrusive, staff couldn't be more lovely. The view was beautiful and it was a really great experience all round, will definitely do this again.
Our usual cafe in Bridgnorth was busy so we decided to pop in to Violets. Not disappointed & will definitely be going there again. Nostalgic, vintage vibe, like Grannie's Parlour! Huge pot of tea & lovely teacakes. Dog & child friendly & a fantastic view out of the main windows. Staff were fantastic & couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful.
As a party of 4 adults, we had a fabulous afternoon tea for my mums 60th surprise weekend away. We travelled from South West to this town and we were welcomed and treated superbly by the attentive and positive team. The afternoon tea was yummy and filling... Great value! And a lovely view across the city. Thank you for having us!
This is a lovely place. The food is excellent, especially the breakfast. A great price for truly delicious food, full breakfast for what some places charge for a sandwich. The sausages they use are amazing. The whole place is beautifully presented without being over the top. It has become a favourite place when shopping in Bridgnorth.
We booked afternoon tea for today. We arrived a little early but were still seated and seen to. The staff were sooooo nice and friendly. The view from this quaint little tea room is amazing! Inside you feel like your in a cosy little place straight out of the 1940s and honestly I could have sat there all day!. We were given pots of tea, offered prosecco as part of our afternoon tea. They brought out 3 individual 3 tier cake stands one for each of us loaded with lovely sandwiches, salad and homemade scones and cakes. We ended up bringing some home as we were so full!. Amazing place, amazing staff and an amazing little place. We will be back and would highly recommend to anyone. They do serve other food aswell. Kid-friendliness: There is a playroom inside also a kids choice menu Dietary restrictions: You are asked if you have any dietary requirements once seated
Absolutely loved going to Violets, the rooms, food and service was wonderful. We booked in advance but was late, yet they kept our table and were lovely. Highly recommend going.Food: 5/5
From minute you walk in staff are lovely and very welcoming. Tea was a lovely cuppa scone cream and jam we're tasty just a little to well done for me on top for my taste.Definitely would return.Food: 4/5
Second Time visiting. Staff are always pleasant and helpful. Wonderful cakes. Fantastic Tea no matter how you like it! They offer a wide range of other food and drinks too if tea and cake isn’t your...cup of tea. The decor is lovely, with 40’s style tea cups and real wood furnishings everywhere. Fantastic views over Bridgnorth at the one end of the room with a warm cosy atmosphere in the rest. Would highly recommend!
AQuaint stop excellent food .Friendly staff. Lovely views.ticks all the boxes for me.Just visited again today.I had pork and pickle pie and my wife had ploughmans lunch and a good old pot of tea in China cups and saucers. This week we got table no 2 in the window.my best hour of the week.
