Loved it great prices very clean staff very nice My little girl Aston loved it plus the 3D effect was amazing lovely place to take your loved ones
Since joining cineworld unlimited we have visited this cinema almost weekly and never had a bad experience. The staff are amazing, my daughter dropped her nachos moments after buying them and the lady behind the till replaced them for free. We've attended a screening before and due to there being a group of 40+ teenagers in the screen the staff member suggested moving us to another screen at a slightly later time. Very thoughtful and appreciated. The cinema is always clean, the queues at the refreshments are short and serviced quickly and there is plenty of free parking.
The seats alone are worth 5 stars, really comfortable! They were replaced a couple of years ago, all recline and have plenty of leg room. I've had hard seats ruin the experience and these are superb. Quality of screens and audio is also what you expect, I've had no issues
A great cinema to take friends or family. Good choice of popcorn, food and movies! Comfy seats are provided in every screening. You can pay extra for 3D or larger screens here! Also, there is a Starbucks on the second floor near the entrance. Wheelchair accessible and friendly!
Popped in to see killers of the flower moon film 7 out of 10 but on for over 3hours had coffee and toasted sandwich in Starbucks in the Cinema seats comfortable well they had reclining options which when the Film is on for Yonks you need to relax you give Up the Will to live otherwise
So, me and hubster, we both qualify for Senior Citizen screenings..... We just absolute love our Wednesday, Cine Senior mornings at Boldon Cineworld, Tyne and Wear. Hubster, loves his complimentary cup of tea, jammy dodgers and a custard cream! Aren't the staff at Boldon Cineworld the absolute best!!!!!! But Cine Seniors is something different. Such a lovely experience. We really love it and it is SUCH a good idea. Well done whoever thought about it! What you do best for Cine Snr is choose the films that you, short show, that are only on for a week or so, that haven't put"bums on seats", that are good and that you know we will want to see again. Yer little fella at Boldon tried to give us printed QR codes for feedback, that were useless. Bad Print out. So hope this feedback is helpful. Please keep your Cine Seniors going. Far superior to a lot of other cinemas. Plenty legroom, even the standard seats recline a little without feeling kicks in the back from the people sitting behind. Comfortable padded seats and armrests. Clean modern and roomy. Good size screen and great view. Even if you have someone as tall as me6ft 4 in front of you, they will not obscure your view unless they are standing up.
Recently updated, the new setup looks great. The old screen six has gone and is now two smaller ones. There are screens upstairs now as well. The leg room is better and the new leather seats recline back. Beer is now on sold too!!
It's obviously a great place for flicks for which it was designed for... But it's a bit pricey... Staff have always been spot on...
Why do you have to charge so much for refreshments? Children going during the holiday and £7 for a Pepsi? What planet are you on charging such extortionate prices? No wonder some children never get to experience these things due to such over inflated and unnecessary prices.
