Great staff, a big sound out to Cassie who was really friendly, polite and a credit to the company. The IMAX was as good as always and the sound was exceptional. Parking can be a bit fussy but no great deal breaker.
WOW! Our evening was completely made by the manager!nNot local to Plymouth so only ever go here for a treat and tonight was the premiere of “Wicked: For Good.” I booked the tickets way in advance and Cineworld was one of the few that still had 2 seats next to each other so we booked there despite only being here once for The Conjuring in 4DX … which I ran out of after just the trailers scaredy cat! nI realised when we sat down that our seats were in the second row when I distinctly remember booking seats by the back. I checked my tickets against the booking I had made and discovered we were in the complete wrong screen!nAs nothing was showing yet, I walked out to ask an usher who pointed me in the direction of the manager at the Baskin Robins stand, who, when I politely explained my confusion, explained that 2 of their screens had broken that evening … on premiere night … of one of the biggest films of the year! So all the screens were mixed up. I felt SO bad for him, he must have been clobbered all night, but when I showed him the difference between the row I had booked and the one we ended up with, I could barely get my whole sentence out before he declared it “not good enough for me” and offered us 2 tickets of our choosing in the IMAX screening happening 10 minutes later!!nnAbsolutely MADE UP! First IMAX experience and for arguably our most important cinema trip! What a generous and wonderful offer! All the thanks in the world to that manager and the dreadful evening he likely had due to matters beyond his control! Thank you so much, WE WILL RETURN!! Any major movie trips we do will now all be held in IMAX, in Plymouth, and at Cineworld. I commend the manager on how seriously he took an issue that I was more than prepared to accept, because he wouldn’t accept it, and that’s outstanding customer service!
Just watched Jurassic World Rebirth at our favourite Cineworld! It was a standard screening, but the BEST movie ever.nFor my daughter’s birthday we treated ourselves to Paddington in Peru 4DX and Wow, What an experience even if the tickets are a bit steep. When you want something special, it’s Cineworld’s most exhilarating way to watch a film. The immersive effects brought the magic of Paddington’s adventure to life.nCinema is clean, spacious and the staff are warm and welcoming. Also, you can enjoy plenty of food and drink options, popcorn ,soft drinks, Baskin Robbins and more
Had an incredible time at Cineworld Plymouth, what a gem of a location! Super modern, clean, friendly staff, excellent screen! Loved it! It’s on an upper level away from the street so not the easiest to access but there are lifts and escalators galore and lots of restaurants in the same location. The 4DX experience was particularly fun! Note to self to watch all our films there from now on! Couldn’t recommend it more highly
James at Cineworld showed exemplary customer service. my mum and I turned up to watch the choral which has been cancelled due to a fault in the screen. James put an extra showing on to allow us to view it. Thank you
