A decent place to have some Indian food. I ordered a beer and was poured with more foam than beer. Not very professional. I had to pour the rest of the beer. Ordered a mix basic Platter which had some well marinated meats. The biryani was a bit spicy but overall had a good taste along with the dish that comes with it.
Fantastic food, , but note it is no longer a restaurant, which is a shame, as the food is so good. We frequently have a take away and it's always piping hot, and delivered by a friendly driver....Food: 5/5
Went to this on my first day in London during my one week stay at the Brunel University only to find that this is not related to the famous Chutneys food chain back in India. I was received with an insult. The owner said "all Indian guys come but make less bill" The owner also told me to place an order only if I eat food worth more than 10 GBP otherwise they wouldn't like to take my order. The biriyani I ordered was not great. I ordered samosas with biriyani strange combo so as to make my bill cross the amount I was "asked" to make. I quickly finished my food and left the place.
Ordered a special biryani, chicken, lamb and prawns… amazing! Added a vegetable curry complimentary which just added to the flavour. Definitely a favourite
Thank you for the little extras in my butter chicken! I enjoyed the free bits of plastic, and the addition of a few pieces of... perhaps?... some sort of manky rope/string! Such a delight to get free stuff in these trying times. Sadly, being a person who is not a fan of surprises, I had to stop eating after the second non-food-entity in my curry. Despite my best efforts to forget about the ordeal, I couldn't. I was reminded fairly violently for the next couple of days where I was curiously, and perhaps not-surprisingly, and perhaps not-coincidentally, sick as a parrot. You guys were great before. New owner?
We've recently moved so this was our first takeaway at Chutneys and won't be our last. Thoroughly enjoyed it. It could've been spicier but that's just me being fussy, saag panner was delicous . Delivery was fast, and food will still warm upon arrival. Vegetarian options: Saag paneer and tarka daal were both very tasty.
The most beautiful Indian food I've ever tried, I've rarely had Indian food because I have a very sensitive stomach but not only did this food taste so amazing it didn't bother my tummy at all, they employers also are so lovely and friendly and really are happy to have a chat with you. Will defo be going back just wish I'd gone to their restaurant when it was there x
Prefect curry every time… we end up addicted to this man’s curries… I’ve tried lots of restaurants and take always … 17 years on he is still the best ever there is. Always fresh and hot and so tasty. 10 out 10
Small restaurant with great food and polite staff. Decent price.Food: 5/5
Dropped by on a recent stopover... The food was excellent, as was the opportunity to chat with the guys whilst the good was prepared. Chicken Jalfrezi with a Tandoori Chicken appetizer, really hit the spot. When I'm passing back through Uxbridge from France next time, I'll be sure to drop in...
