Nice warming cafe on an autumnal day. Lots of choices on the menu, lots of cake options. Service was superbly swift and staff were very pleasant. Lunch was nice, went with eggs royale while my partner enjoyed Stilton and mushroom on her jacket potato. Nicely located near parking and just off the market square down a cobbled street, very handy.
Came here for breakfast and was really disappointed with the portion size. The 2 "Lincolnshire" sausages represented nothing bigger than chipolatas, the bacon rashers were small and shrivelled, mushroom serving was on the small side too. For the £5.45 +50p for black pudding it didn't really resemble a breakfast that was value for money. The owner himself came across as quite miserable too. Definitely won't come here again.
looking for a nice independent cafe where I could get breakfast. The place is empty as I walk in and I'm guessing it's the owner sat at the door, very rude and sat on his phone he quickly says I'm not allowed in with my takeaway coffee, other reviews have mentioned the rude gentleman so we cannot be wrong......I'll have to take my money elsewhere.
The food was awful. Three of us ordered a jacket potato with different fillings each. The potatoes were small and microwaved. I asked for chicken tikka and cheese - they must have been running out of cheese as there was only a small sprinkling. My daughter had chilli on hers; again, a measly portion and the potato was bad. The accompanying salads were tiny. They included a small amount of wilted lettuce, two minute cherry tomatoes, halved, and three slices of dry cucumber. It looked like it had been sat out on the side for some time. We each had a drink too and the total cost for this joy was £25. Dirty ladies toilet too. Absolutely rubbish. Owner tried to joke about his sore feet as he was so busy, but we couldn't get out there fast enough. Shame as we've been going years but we won't be going again.
Extensive menu, friendly service and allowed on our well-behaved dog in. Sandwiches, cooked breakfasts, burgers, pies, jacket potatoes etc etc. Coffees, tea, smoothies, juices. A lovely little cafe/restaurant.Food: 4/5
Family run restaurant, with hot fresh food. Been visiting for a number of years now and never had a bad meal. I always recommend to family and friends to visit here. We Always pre. Book being in a wheel chairs as we like the big round table at the front window. Dave the owner is so genuine with his customers, ensuring your happy throughout your whole visit. We regularly visit here with in Spilsby, supporting an independent restaurant, with freshly cooked, locally sourced food
Lovely little place, David served us up a lovely breakfast, after a warm welcome. We also picked up a couple of etchings we liked, all round enjoyed our visit
Love this place! Friendly welcome, great food at extremely reasonable prices. It's always busy because everyone knows how good it is there. The owner is lovely, very welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, it's a real pleasure to visit
Delicious food, good price, nice staff, all very clean. I really recommend this place!! I think they don’t have wifi, but all brilliant. Thanks.
We love coming here. Food is great, service outstanding and staff are very friendly Food: 5/5
