"Church Farm Holiday Park near Bognor Regis, Sussex is a great place to stay on the sometimes sunny! south coast. There are incredible experiences to be had and a range of activities like Segways and Archery. Your tastebuds will be satisfied at the signature Mash and Barrel restaurant, and there’s enticing entertainment at the venue throughout the day and evening. Guests can have a dip in the indoor and outdoor pools, and there’s a lovely lagoon- a truly peaceful setting that takes you away from the hustle and bustle and into relaxation mode. Bognor Regis is only four miles away. It’s easy to see why the town goes down in coastal folklore, with a huge range of amusements and attractions and a beach befitting of one of the best in the UK."

Caravan was lovely although when stripping the beds on leaving as requested I found that there were no mattress protectors and very stained mattresses. It was too late to complain as we were leaving. We had 2 caravans and pretty much all of us were unimpressed with the entertainment. There was constant technical issue's and the singers/magicians were awful. The drinks took ages to get to you and you had to order well before you needed them. My teenage son was bored as there was nothing for him to do on site. We booked him to do air rifle shooting, which he liked, but he didn't get to shoot very much as there was a lot of waiting. The swimming pool is small and we had to queue for the changing rooms. Tried to book the family cycles but the booking system said they were all booked up despite a lot of them parked up unused for most of the day. Maybe they could have live bands rather than karaoke type singers and a selection of entertainment we had magic twice. Could do with a games room to keep the teenagers happy, the arcade gets expensive after a while. A pool table in the bar would be nice for us oldies who like traditional pubs.
We cut our holiday short to the kids being so bored! It’s a very small complex with no much entertainment on during the day! Weather was awful so thought they would have done more for the kids. Local area isn’t great eithershould have done my research on that before booking!. Swimming pool is also very basic, having kids who can’t swim and they got very bored! Would have been nice to have some slides or floats and something to play with. But I will say the caravan was beautiful, clean and very spacious! We would also like to say Bethof the blue coats was amazing with the kids in the evenings!! She made so much effort with them!
Absolutely loved our time at Church Farm!..Everything was clean, efficient, well organised and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. The food and service excellent. The best Haven site we have ever been too. We will be back next year for sure and hopefully many years after that...Thank you Haven for a wonderful family break!
This review is for the on site restaurant Mash and Barrel. We have been coming to church farm for 15 years with our children and am normally very happy with everything about this place. The caravans are always lovely not as clean as I would like but ok. The restaurant on site has really gone downhill. The quality and standard of food you receive for the cost of it is really bad. I ordered the ribs and chicken at the cost of £17.99 i am happy to pay this if the food is good but it was terrible. Very small portion not given coleslaw and just looked very dry and like it was just chucked on the plate. I did complain but was told that’s just as it is. Not really good in my opinion so don’t think we will be eating there again. Also I must add your team leader/ manager told me to write this review as head office don’t listen to them !!
Had a great holiday with family. But having been an owner here before Haven took over, it was really sad to see what they have done to the park. All the open space is gone, with caravans packed in so tightly! The main building isn't fit for the amount of people staying at the park, meaning not enough seating in the showbar, and being cramped when you did find a seat. The caravan we stayed in had quite a bit of mould, and spiderwebs in all the corners, so it obviously hadn't been cleaned thoroughly as it should have been. The restaurant was also not as good as expected- ordering something from the menu then finding half of the ingredients missing. The staff were much friendlier than I remember, especially the arcade staff who had so much patience, and were run off their feet by the kids but never seemed to complain! All in all the park is so clearly only about money now- taking away the beauty of what was once a great holiday park.
I have visited Church Farm a few times, this weekend just gone being the last. I have to say this looks to be the last time. I booked 2 caravans and only one was ready on time. It was so busy this time that not even 1/4 of the site could fit in the lounge area to see the shows. The pantomime was terrible no one could understand what the actors were saying. The mash & barrel restaurant was under staffed so we got sat in the app area yet the app wasn't working. After ordering drinks we waited 30 mins minimum for them to arrive at the table. The only 2 staff that stood out were the older main who greated us in arrivals who was lovely and Kayleigh in the toy shop in the lounge who was amazing.
Excellent site and good facilities. Spacious caravans and wonderful location over looking the lagoon. Veranda was super for sitting outside shame the gate had no key to secure as we had a toddler in our group. Caravan was clean and ready to use.
Good holiday camp food was decent, and it didn't feel like there was much for older kids to do in regards to the club except from the arcadeRooms: 4/5
After having terrible few years like many people my daughter booked me a luxury caravan in Lagoon View as a surprise. I had no idea. Have to say it was perfect - peaceful. The weather was perfect and as for the caravan I was very pleasantly surprised! wow! Very clean and spacious. As for the wildlife on the lagoon and the sea. Amazing a couple of seals were having a wonderful time swimming in the sea. . What a bonus! Have to say all the staff from reception, shop and ground workers were cheery and helpful. Treated myself to fish and chips the last evening. Freshly made and delicious. The whole experience at this Haven site did me the world of good and enjoyed myself so much as soon as I got home I booked myself another break for later in the year. Can't wait. Thanks to my daughter's treat and Haven I know where to go for my own little haven.
My first time here. Stayed as we were attending a wedding the next day. Not much to do. Didn't like the entertainment. Arcade quite small and prize shop beyond bad 100s of tickets for little bits of junk.
