Great campsite. The staff very friendly and the restaurant served breakfast and evening meals, which was perfect when we arrived on a Friday night. Really good for walking trails and bike routes, owners have information to help. We had a huge pitch which was perfect for our fire pit and bbq set up. Toilets very clean and fab play area for the children. Thanks very much, we’re be back!

We stayed for 2 nights at Church Farm Caravan and Camping Site in December 2017. We were doing a bit of walking in the area and needed a base. On arrival we meet Steve the owner. He booked us in at £23.50 per night, pointed out where the toilets, showers and laundry were then showed us where to pitch our motorhome. We choose this site because we needed both showers and laundry facilities due to our walks. Credit where credit due, the shower block was lovely and spacious. The laundry room however... We walked into the 'laundry' room, looked around, looked at each other and said, "This can't be it. This must be a store room". There were a couple of machines, one of which could hardly be seen due to being piled high with boxes and bags. One machine had what looked like an old quilt inside. The walls were thick with cobwebs and the floor space was limited due to his stuff being everywhere. Convinced we were in the wrong room we came out just in time to bump into Steve. He confirmed this was indeed the laundry room and the washing machine takes the old £1 coin of which he has lots in the bungalow, the dryer takes as many 50p pieces as was necessary. "This? On top of the £23.50 per night?" Blimey! There is no way we put our clothes, bedding, etc into these machines. The room was so dirty you'd only need to rub your clean washing against something and it would need washing again. It was dire. In our opinion Steve should not be offering laundry facilities. The cafe looked nice enough but was closed during our 2 nights stay. As mentioned about we stayed in December. It was very quiet as you'd expect. Please don't book this site if you wish to use the laundry.

A nice part of the world. The site is a nice size, with reasonable facilities. The local village pubs are a few minutes walk.

Amazing place. We went out of season field to ourselves. Toilet block was spotless. Admittedly I got my van stuck in the mud because of the bad weather but the owners pulled us out with their tractor. Very friendly.

Lovely campsite overall. I love the fact there was a restaurant on site which served good quality food for really good prices. Its saved me cooking meals for the family, making it a lot less stressful for me! Its a good location and close to many sites to visite with the family. Such as the heavy horse centre, which my kids loved. Its also got lovely walks in the surrounding the area. Its perfect for a family holiday as it is mainly oriented around that aspect. There's play grounds on site which they really enjoyed. Their facilities are clean and of high quality. The staff and owners were all really helpful and generous, and I will for sure be visiting again.
