I had such and horrible experience in this place. I went there for my first therapy session and I took my son with me.nBeen put at ease from Karim, got offered a glass of water and couple of question about where I live and to confirm name and date of birth and if I filled the questionnaire that they sent me over the phone via text message. I didn't notice that there was a questionnaire to fill up, I am very distracted lately and a lot is going on. Karim looked a bit annoyed about the fact I didn't fill the form beforehand. It took me only 5 mins to do everything. Once completed I got asked more questions about who was the GP if I remember the name of the Doctor ect., If I had an emergency contact which I don't etc... my son started fussying, he was tired. I asked if I could breastfeeding him so he would calm down and eventually fall asleep, Karim offer me privacy and a sit while I was breastfeeding and after a while he asked me if I have childcare or anyone that could look at him and I mentioned a baby sitter that I could afford it but not right now and he carried on explaining that we can't do the session today because of Alex and the fact that we had already lost 20 minutes and started to agitating me as I was getting stressed and couldn't understand why He was refusing to carry on. He then suggested to check when it would be my next availability and I mentioned that it took me almost a month to book this very first session after the incident and that my GP booked me after 3 weeks as they couldn't give me any earlier appointment. I insisted to stay and explained that I was already there and if we could carry on and do the session today or if he could book another session in person this same week as I prefer to speak to people on their faces ad I go very much with energy and I ca understand if someone is really listening or not. Karim reassured me saying that the team is listening to me even if it's over the phone and that will make sure someone will call me the day after or some day this week to complete the first assessment. Karim was not aware of why I was there and he kept putting pressure on me mentioning the fact that a session last 45 mins and we already lost 20m and he couldn't even start the session because it requires to be 45 mins long and that other people are waiting to be seen today. I just wanted to be listen to. Karim addressed me as frustrated. Today I experienced discrimination as single mother struggling with PTSD after an incident where my son was involved trying to look out for help after almost a month waiting to SPEAK with someone who suppose to show compassion and understanding, I didn't even had the chance to explained why I was there. I had to get the bus and the tube it took me an hour to get to the place. I was tired and mentally exhausted and couldn't wait to finally speak with someone. Karim you could have just listen to me for 5 minutes, you could have saved a life, anyone's life. I invite you to review your duties as a Mental Health Therapist. You completely failed with me.
I would leave zero stars if I could ...what can I say I put my prescription in last week, went to chemist and all was there apart from my pain relief....called them Friday and lad said will get it sent over asap ...called back today as still not at chemist....to be told I need to book an appointment to see doctor to get my medication....I've been on this medication over 10years and when I said book me an appointment then, they said I will have to call back tomorrow....so cancelling medication with no indication of needed an appointment before hand and leaving people with long term pain to suffer....it's a joke...could of told me Friday and booked me on but no make you wait a whole weekend and then say need to book.....they play with your mental health and the receptionist is so rube and uncaring when it comess to the patient....I think they need to realise we employ them to do a job and if it wasn't for us they wouldn't have one.....this is the worst service I have ever received and worst doctors and receptionist I have ever been in contact with....if your looking for a GP please DO NOT USE THESE as when Dr goyle not there noone cares about your mental health, pain or medication
Today my 11 y/o son had a second visit with Dr Jervis, I can’t express enough how professional, thorough, emphatic and reassuring Dr Jarvis is. This is so rare to have such a professional in the surgery, we should do everything to keep him in Church Elm Lane Health Centre.
Worst service ever! I've only just registered with them, BIG MISTAKE! Absolute rubbish! They cancelled 4 of my appointments, one after the other. I was lied to by one of the ladies at the reception saying that she sent me a message minutes before my appointment to cancel. It's been almost a week and still haven't received the message. She booked me in for this week when she knew the nurse wouldn't be there on that particular day! Very unprofessional! I had to take time off work twice for these appointments and got nothing in return!nShe was even rude to someone who called while I was there and hang up on them!nDon't waste your time registering here, it's not worth it!
Islamaphobic and racist behaviour from Dr goyal herself.nnI attended to discuss my deteriorating mental health issue. I observe niqab for religious reasons. Soon as she saw me she exerted a cold and intolerable demeanour, coudlnt even respond to my hello. but was a lot nicer to the people seen straight after me.nnShe tried to insist on me uncovering myself for her, even though my appointment was regarding my MENTAL health not my PHYSICAL. What happened to freedom of dressing as we please in this country, or sensitivity towards peoples protected characteristics? Or inclusivity? She broke the law. I politely declined her trying to shove her insistence on observing my face and she became rude and abrupt. She dismissed me with just some generic information sent via text. I could have got this in a simple Google search. She insisted she wanted to see my face to assess my mental state?? Funny how when everyone wore covid masks and they forced us to do this - there was no need to see our faces. Nor was the need there for the numerous telephone appointments I had prior to this. I’ve even been diagnosed for my mental health all whilst wearing a covid mask. She didn’t care about seeing my face hence the lack of eye contact given the whole time I was there. She was just rude and arrogant and intolerable to people of different race and religion. I have filed a complaint and will potentially file a complaint in court for discrimination under the equality act2010. Staff at the front desk were nice though.
