My husband and I stayed in the area roughly 3 weeks and we ate here at least 5 times. Defintly stop in. We made it our last dinner before we left. That's how much we liked it. Super fast too. In and out in 15 min max. Medium doner kebab extra spicy, no chips. Trust me you want it. And the thing is so big it's basically two meals.
Vile experience!!! Ordered food for delivery, when it came the chips were clearly reheated and soggy, kebab meat was stone cold. Missed some of our order off. I rang up to see if they could send some fresh food out, however I got huffed and puffed at by a man down the phone, saying that he’s disagreeing with me as he saw the chips get fried in the oil before they left? We order from Chubby’s often, however we will not be placing an order there again after the disgusting service we’ve had tonight.
I wouldn’t bother ordering from here if I was you. We ordered a few different things this evening, the burger meat was 100% off, the kebabs are absolutely disgusting and also off, definitely unedible. We phoned up to complain about the state of the food and the fact that we would get ill from eating this. The people on the phone had absolutely disgusting attitudes, laughing about the fact the meat is off, passing the phone around all refusing to speak to us on the phone and point blank would not accept the fact that a trained chef said the food is unedible. The way we were spoken to and treated is disgusting so we’re currently waiting for just eat to pick up the complaint to take this further as chubby’s customer service is obviously none existent. Definitely not going to go here again.
Staff are friendly and efficient but the food is dire. We hadn't been for months,, now we remember why!. Chips are far too overcooked, kebab has an awful taste. Garlic mayo was good so not all bad ‍ Won't bother again.
This used to be nice but the last few times I’ve been the food is cold and tasteless. Shame really. There’s lots of other takeaways in the area so they need to up their game!
Order last night . It was awful. Don't know how long it had been in delivery guy's car for but when it arrived it was a cold dryed up waist of money. Won't be having anything from here ever again
This place used to be a great takeaway. I think the quality of the food has really gone downhill. There donner kebab meat is inedible now, I’ve given them the benefit of the doubt three times now. The last time I just threw it in the bin after finding crunchy hard bits in, not at all pleasant. Gave them1 last try September 2022. Don’t know why I bothered, portion size small now too. If you are buying such poor quality produce, where else are you skimping???
Spider was found in my kabab and my tooth has just broken from a piece of meat! Never ordering from here again.
Ordered a kebab and pizza. Took 1 hr 30 mins to arrive. The kabab was tasteless and cold. The pizza was burnt with an inch of its life. Chesse, topping, crust resembled charcoal. Complained and a rude delivery driver returned. The driver lifted the base and told me it wasn’t burnt!!! Thought he was joking, its was burnt to a crisp. Got a refund but argued about 20p change. DO NOT USE THIS TAKEAWAY. Frozen meal would be a better option.
8/10 times great food and quick delivery.
