Kept me on my toes the whole way. Driving 80 miles an hour and steering with his legs while on the phone. A genuinely thrilling approach to the automobile. Yes, I feared for my life at a number of corners but the unpredictability of the whole experience was arguably refreshing. Almost soiled myself near Bangor and was charged a fair bit more than he initially said. Two stars!
Excellent taxi service, great driver-customer relationship, very prompt response after booking two cabs less than 5 minutes response time, and the two drivers assisted with my luggage into the cabs. Thanks Chubbs, keep up the excellent client relationship. Will be definitely using you guys anytime in need.
Rubbish company and taxis. Never be on time and the drivers are very rude apparently uneducated. They can let you wait for more than 10 minutes then you get.a rude driver who shout at you. Or they just don’t come after your 20-minutes waiting, and they don’t even answer your call then - the call goes directly to the driver you’ve booked so they know it is you calling. Even one star is too many for the rude drivers. And the company offers no numbers for complain. How interesting.
A friend and her daughter were waiting for one of their cabs last night for 40 mins I was asked by them to find out where the cab was thane response I got from the cab company was basically the one who answered yelling at me once I said my friends name yelling where they was and saying they werent there my friend was there still and apparently a car was sent and didn't see them well as far as my friends were concerned no cab had turned up and it's a place where you have an easy way of seeing any cabs plus they never moved from where they were so how the cab never saw anyone I have no idea this isn't the first time this has happened with this company I would strongly suggest the ones answering the phones get trained on how to answer the phone and the drivers re do their knowledge cos if they can't see 2 people outside a massive area then I suggest they need some re training or perhaps new glasses and to add they are in severe pain with this now as they had a long walk with heavy bags which was why they ordered the cab to save them the journey they didn't arrive back till 910 pm
Really rubbish company! 0/10 would not recommend. Every time I’ve used them they are late. Unreliable ! There has also been an occasion where they have completely forgotten about picking me up and I was left outside in the cold for over half an hour to find out they weren’t coming. Also about 70% of the time, the taxis stink of cigarettes. So if you want to turn up 20 minutes late for an exam, or not get picked up at all, use Chubbs taxis.
love chubbs, theres nearly always a taxi available, and the drivers are real nice to chat to.. cant fault them
I was in the in pickup location 5 minutes before and proceeded to wait a further 10 minutes for taxi to arrive - by this point I had to ask a friend who was luckily available to pick me up as I’m unable to walk due to ankle injury. No call to let you know they were late or why they didn’t turn up? I was late to my meeting. Horrendous service and obviously won’t use again. Sean’s taxi’s have got really decent 5 star reviews unlike this company!
Absolutely amazing family owned buiseness, the drivers are absolutely fantastic very friendly and very respectful of personal boundaries as well they provide a safe and nice atmosphere and take care of the passengers well. Never had an issue and airport ride was the smoothest ride ever. Must travel with chubbs cabs when in Gwynedd and Ynys Mon ,Wales. Xx
The most condescending patronising control freak driver, how dare you say you’re not paying for this ….. I had my card stolen ….. your an absolute disgrace young Lady
Booked a cab in advance for 2:50pm, I was there at 2:50 and the driver wasn’t there, he either drove off or was never there, was lied to by the woman on the phone and then told to wait 10mins+ for a new one. Would not recommend this taxi service at all, very unprofessional.ServicesLimousines
