Family visit to this lovely restaurant. Lucky enough to have this converted railway station now tapas restaurant on our doorstep. We went for Sunday dinner and were not disappointed. Food was excellent, well prepared and served as it was ready. Portion sizes were good considering it is a tapas restaurant. Staff were excellent and service in point from the welcome to the bill. Full marks Cita.
AMAZING restaurant, went there for 3 days straight and had different things each day, all were immaculate! Servers were extremely kind, appetizers are all enjoyable, mains are DELICIOUS. Everything here is amazing and I totally recommend going here. picture is: burger with friesRecommendation for vegetariansSomewhat recommendVegetarian offeringsLarge vegetarian selection
Nice place, for veggies I would recommend vegetable croquettes and honey aubergine. Also a 1 portion of Potatas bravas is enough for 6people.
Amazing food and service! We were served by Geo who was lovely and very attentive. All the staff are so nice and food was outstanding! Highly recommend this place was very cosy and relaxed.
We enjoyed a delicious meal with our family, and everyone was happy! The staff were excellent and we had a good wine reccomended when the one we chose was out of stock. The wine selection was very good, but I believe its being updated. Hope it has the same variety. Tapas options were generous.
Absolutely braw. Not been a tapas fan. Issue i had was picking what not to take off the menu. Service top notch
11/10 would recommend! Cosy atmosphere, delicious food, friendly staff. It was a wonderful experience and I look forward to visiting again.
After hearing good things we finally got the chance to try Cita’s for dinner with a few friends Friday night and left extremely impressed with full bellies and merry spirits! The food was hot and tasty- piella was perfect, the meatballs are a must try as recommended ! Perfect for a informal dinner, Cita’s is bright and colourful with modern facilities and easy location from the platform with town only a few streets away. Chuffed to have this lovely wee gem right in the village . Could not post a review without mentioning the young women serving us, they really made it a special night, the cocktails were stunning! Spot on guys, we will be back!
Mixed feelings on this one, probably tempered by the fact that Choo Choo's is a hard act to follow. However, I appreciate how difficult it is to establish a reputation in the food industry and I wish Cita Tapas success. So, here we go. The decor is pleasant and it feels informal. It's a difficult building to work as it is so narrow but Cita have made it their own with the bright colours and lots of light. The staff are nice but inexperienced and need to read their customers better. When you are the only customer in the restaurant and want to move seat , then be flexible, don't make the customer feel that they are a problem. The food was OK, and it was served quickly - almost too quickly, we felt a bit rushed, which goes back to my point about seating. I'd advise getting the microwave de-pinged! It isn't great value for money though with specials at £15 consisting of a "special" product and a lot of salad leaves to bulk the plate out. The Canarian potatoes were probably the star of the show, and the chickpea stew was just confusing and underwhelming. Carrots, undercooked Aubergine and about a dozen chickpeas. I'll give it a second visit and hopefully by then the owners will have looked at the reviews and tweak the little things to make this a 5 star review.
We booked our first visit here for our 23rd wedding anniversary, the staff were professional and attentive and we were very impressed with Scott the restaurant manager who managed to accommodate us at a booth table, rather than sitting at the middle tables surrounded closely on both sides. The food was fresh and delicious, you can tell that the chef cares about the quality. We highly recommend Cita Tapas and look forward to our next visit!
