This is a beautiful place, very peaceful and welcoming. I have been taking my baby to the stay and play on Wednesday and it’s such a lovely atmosphere, there are loads of mums, babies and toddlers, plenty of space and toys for everyone and they also have story time for the kids. If you are looking for a lovely fun place to take your baby/kid this is very good!

I was trying to rescue an injured fox which was seen near the rectory's garden. I thought the best thing would be to knock at the rectory to ask permission to put up a trap so I could take the fox to a designated treatment center for foxes. A woman who came down the garden path introduced herself as the vicar's wife asked me what I was doing there. I explained. She was not really interested about my concern but keen to go about her own business although she PROMISED to give me a call on my mobile after having discussed the matter with her husband. Unfortunately this never materialized. Sadly the fox was not important enough to care! The fox in question was a young cub affected with mange. It had lost all its fur and was suffering greatly. Foxes with mange die a horribly slow and painful death within three months of contracting the disease. This experience made me sad. I always thought that compassion is a priority and unconditionally in the life of a religious person.

We were warmly welcomed by the church family here. Service in the afternoon at 4pm with crèche and groups for children, and there's a morning one too.
