Chris Henshaw Gas Services cover all your gas heating needs, whether it's a gas fire, a gas boiler or gas-fired central heating system. As well as the installation of gas central heating systems and gas boilers, we also install gas fires, gas cookers and supply gas appliances such as combi Boilers, Gas Fires, Gas Cookers and plumbing components.

To work at its best, your central heating system needs clean water flowing through its pumps, pipes and radiators. When sludge and other deposits build up, they create blockages that force the pump to work harder. This can mean you waste energy, and pay more to heat your home and water.

All our engineers are Gas Safe registered and regularly attending industry standard training programs. They will install your central heating boiler with minimum disruption and can advise on other ways to make your home more energy-efficient.

I should have taken the hint when he cancelled on me 5 times before the job started. But it was a simple job. Fit a gas hob, remove a radiator and fit 2 central heating plinth radiators to our kitchen. The heaters, is asked him to spur in a separate 10mm pipe so as to keep the pressure even throughout the system. He cut corners and t-junctioned the 2 plinth heaters to a single 10mm pipe, so both heaters run really cool now. I'd even made it as simple as possible by having the piping pre-run before he arrived by the builder. So it was a simple job. He then left the system fully pressurised because, and I quote, 'he didn't have the tools to bleed the radiators', as he told my wife. I came home from work to a 2bar pressure fill on my boiler that I had to bleed out myself. The irony is, my radiators only require a flat head screwdriver to bleed. So he lied to my wife. He also said he would come back to remove the radiator, which was part of the original job description. 2months later, he's still not contacted me. Now for the hob. He told my wife the brackets wouldn't work because of the units shape, so he used a silicone glue to attach my brand new glass Neff hob to my brand new counter top. Despite having drawn lines on the counter top, he glued it in over 1.5cm twisted, so it's off centre! I'm beyond miffed with his shoddy workmanship. He also quoted a full days work, which I understood, if he were to have done all the aspects originally quoted on without cutting corners, but my wife says he was only here for 3hrs, and that included a 1hr round trip to B&Q. I cannot recommend avoiding him more. It's just a shame that he was paid before I'd seen the work...
