Really great little theatre. Comfy seats and not too big an audience, so it feels really interactive and everyone can join in with the comedian. We saw three acts plus a compère, and all of them were genuinely funny.nTickets were a bargain at just £15. Doors opened at 7pm, the show ran from 8pm until about 10:30pm, with short breaks between each act—perfect for a quick trip to the bar or loo.nnIt was sold out, so definitely arrive early if you want to be closer to the front. The car park is quite small and fills up quickly, though we managed to park on a nearby side street.nnGreat crowd, great comedians, and the doors and bar were run by lovely little retired ladies—very cute! Absolutely loved it.
Chorley Theatre is a fantastic local venue that we always enjoy visiting. We've been many times over the years and every visit has been a great experience.nnThe snack shop is very reasonably priced, and it's always a treat to enjoy a delicious Fredericks ice cream during the interval! The staff are friendly and the theatre has such a welcoming atmosphere.nnWhat makes it even more special is knowing that all the profits go straight back into maintaining and caring for this wonderful historic building, helping to keep it thriving for the community.nnWe'll definitely be back again and would highly recommend a visit!
OMG! What an incredible show Cluedo was! Amazing set, amazing cast and when the butler guy revisited the whole play at the end it was incredible. Can’t believe I’ve not been to show here before - I’m already looking to book the next show
Such a great theatre, wholly run by volunteers who are all so friendly and welcoming. The theatre has good facilities, including a bar with hot/cold/soft/alcohol drinks. The hall itself is fitted with comfortable seats, and the sound system is good. I went there to see a movie, and I will going to see the play Gaslight, so I'll be able to say a bit more about experiencing watching a play.nThere's plenty of parking nearby, especially in the evening.
Cosy and clean theatre which is well looked after by all the volunteers and they clearly make an impression on the artists and performers too, who return repeatedly!nnWatched James Acaster tonight...good to finish the weekend with some laughs!
