Good location and carparks nearby in front of the library and market walk. Good varieties of eatery to choose from around the seating area. Other main street shops are also close by. Well done Chorley council.
Spent a couple of hours at the market on a first-time visit to Chorley. The traditional indoor market has a good variety of stalls ranging from haberdashery to blinds, pet supplies to paperbacks and greetings cards, and lots of clothing. Friendly atmosphere and stallholders. Was looking for a beige shoulder bag, and the Bag Company Stall had a huge selection of bags in every size and colour. Was really spoilt for choice! The stallholder was very helpful, and I found just what I was looking for. There are food shops along one wall including a butcher's, bakery and deli. When you need a refreshment break, there's a friendly little café, a comfy seating area with a few varied food outlets, and even a micro pub with a decent choice of real ales. The toilets were clean and well maintained. I came here on a Tuesday when there's also an outdoor market taking place all along the surrounding streets. Good mix of stalls here too, fewer than I had been expecting, but then it was raining heavily! There are lots of shops and eateries around the market, in a clean and modern pedestrian area. Plenty of free or cheap parking close by.
Cracking market, with lots of local produce on offer, and the smallest pub in Lancashire in the market, good selection of ales etc, and friendly folk...even local atractions and events..never a dull moment...
Easy parking, extremely friendly, really quick in taking blood, 20 minutes free because I was done in 20 minutes you don't get charged for the first 30 minutes
Fantastic Market, street market on a Tuesday and various other markets on Saturdays. Main market open Tuesdays Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays with some perimeter stalls open on a Monday.
