Had an issue with my screen washer system - called up last minute on a Friday & there was no issue at all bringing it in to be looked at! Friendly team & work was done efficiently. So pleased & grateful - nothing is too much bother!
I was at the beginning of a long journey South when something came lose on the bottom of my car. Stuck my head in at Chonka for some help on a very busy Monday morning, they quickly and professionally identified a heat shield which was flapping about. The guys were very happy to pop the car on a ramp to give a temporary fix to allow me to get on my way, job done in 10 minutes. They provided advice about replacing the part in time, but also reassurance that for the time being it was fixed. Very friendly staff, very willing to help, very professional. Thank you!
Went and spent the day at Aysgarth Falls with my daughter which was nearly 2 hours away from home and needed to refuel on the way home. My fuel cap wouldn’t open and after several failed attempts by passers by we couldn’t get it open. Was advised to go round the back to this garage where Bruce the owner didn’t hesitate to help me. He eventually got into it and diagnosed the problem for me free of charge! If I could give this garage 10 stars I really would! Such a lovely man and thanks to him I’m no longer stranded. I cannot thank you enough xx
Top banana garage, they took my Corsa in with a hole in the manifold, I looked up the part on Vauxhall and was going to cost a fortune, I nearly had a heart attack, they managed to repair it! felt like a miracle. If they can fix it they will! Thinking back actually, they sorted my wife's airbag warning light a year previous without having to order an expensive part. Very trust worthy garage if it can be fixed they'll do it. Got my discs and pads done as well. I very much appreciate their hard work and will be returning.
Since moving to Aiskew 12 months ago Chonka’s has become our local go to repair/service/mot shop. I can say without doubt they are the best mechanical service I have ever experienced. The staff are always cheerful, friendly, honest, reliable and efficient. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing work on their vehicle. Well Done Chonka’s you are superstars!

Had a problem with my car while towing a caravan so had to cancel the holiday as I could not get it fixed quickly. Three cheers for Bruce at Chonka who got it looked at and repaired in 2 days. Quick efficient job allowing us to find another site and get away in the caravan. Cannot rate them high enough.
Have had a few issues recently with my car, all of which were dealt with very quickly, and to a very high standard, by the excellent folks at at Chonka. The mechanics explain the work required clearly, offering advice where appropriate. Last thing to note is that in terms of prices, they're easily the best in the area, especially considering the quality of their work. Very highly recommended, especially for folks at RAF Leeming ;
