Plenty of space for parking. Nice facilities. Food was really nice, plenty of choice. Between the 4 of us we had chicken curry, chicken burger, egg and chips and an all day breakfast and couldn't fault any of it. And it's reasonably priced.
Parking is a bit pricey and you have to pay extra for a shower.nParking bays could do with a bit of a paint as a bit difficult to see when the place is empty and dark.nSite was nice and quite and with garage open 24 hours securenFood was really nice but little small it would of been better if offered a little discount if parking as meal voucher doesn’t reflect a discount.nBrush your teeth in cab unless you like doing them with warm waternStaff was really friendlynOverall good night
Handy little truck stop if you're in the Chirk area. The ladies that work there are sociable and friendly, the food, that I've eaten, is nice. I haven't used the showers as I'm normally heading back to Kent, thus homeward, from there. Toilets are fairly clean, if a little dowdy, look it up . My main issue is that the toilets close when the canteen closes, you can use the ones in the petrol station though. I have yet to park in daylight so at night the parking bays are indistinguishable, but there's always enough room. I've been in better, but I've been in worse also.
Don't go by the postcode on the Intruck app - that takes you to a shell station just down the road. Go to the roundabout just nearby, the truck stop is located behind the BP garage. Easy to get to.nThere's a decent amount of space for parking - maybe 40 trucks or so. The staff are polite, and the food is good to be fair - best chips you'll find in any truck stop in the country - fact! The showers are clean enough, there's just little room to change there, that's all. Toilets are also clean - theyre the old style metal ones without any form of lid, so a quick wipe before you sit is all that's needed - which I do with any toilet anyway. Make sure you use toilet / showers before they close, cause they don't open till 2pm most days. It's a shame about the parking lot - there's quite a bit of rubbish which I suppose is only down to the people that use the place, so we only have ourselves to blame as there's 3 big bins to use located just to the side of the cafe. A wee bit of love and care, and this would be a great place to stop.
Friendly staff and very helpful. Food was filling and tasty. Clean and tidy. Everything you could ask for. Recommended to anyone.
