On Saturday the 18th of November after watching a movie, we decided to give Chiquito a try as we have never eaten there before. The staff were warm and friendly, and the place was nicely decorated in a very Mexican theme.  Since it was our first time eating at a Chiquito, our waiter strongly recommend we try the "The Ultimate fajita", as it consisted of grilled chicken breast, pulled pork and strips of steak, allowing us to try different combinations with the wraps. The food arrived a lot quicker then expected, was nicely presented and very tasty.  We ended up requesting more wraps as the food portions were so big, the 3 wraps that came with the meal just weren't enough - extra wraps are free, and come in sets of 3.  Over all, I would recommend giving Chiquito a try if you haven't already. If you're worried about the food being too spicy, they do have some good non-spicy options - just ask your waiter.

This restaurant is the best restaurant in town. The staff are very helpful and friendly and has a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for those who fancy a Mexican.

Poor service from the start didnt get a very warm welcome by the person who seated us then had to wait a while to get are order taken i also asked for other drink wen are mains arrived by the time my drink came i finished my main. Would of given 2 stars but food wasnt bad but would not return if tastecards was not accepted

Nice food but service was a little lacking which we were told by the people we were eating with was pretty common for this place.

My partner and I always enjoy coming here, solid menu and it offers a pretty reasonable student discount at 25%! Sometimes it's difficult to get the bill at the end of the meal efficiently as it appears to be very understaffed at busy periods, but never an issue as the staff are all very friendly and polite.

Love this place, absolutely my favourite restaurant. Greeted by the wonderful Jake today and seated quickly. Have been coming to this one for several years now and cannot rate these guys high enough. From the duty manager to the guys and girls running the tables they  are all a delight. Whatever you guys are doing keep doing it xx So worth the drive from a local town , would rather visit Stevenage than any other Chiquito’s Thank you again xx

So let’s start with a positive the waiter came over promptly after we arrived to take our drinks order. Drinks arrived and starters and mains order was taken in record time. All seemed to be going smoothly with the starters coming out in good time and most importantly kids happy!!! That’s where the positives stop I’m afraid!!! Our mains which had been ordered straight away took over half an hour to be served and seeing as we had our 3 kids plus niece and nephew this felt like eternity. Once the mains did arrive mine and my husbands mains were stone cold and my husbands food completely incorrect. We asked to speak to Rahul the manager but we were told he was too busy and couldn’t speak to us!! My husband persisted we speak to him and to be honest he was an absolute disappointment in terms of management skills I have EVER seen.  We can honestly say that this is one place we will not be visiting again. It’s suffice to say the management and service really needs looking at. I hope this feedback is seriously considered and looked at by the Stevenage Chiquito management team!! We will be taking our complaint further

As a party of 5 we had a fantastic meal! All the food was hot and tasty, plus our waitress Avelina was very attentive! Couldn't do enough foe us, and was very good about checking up on our table, even when I was being indecisive about my order! Thanks for a great night!

Considering some of the poor reviews on here i was apprehensive to say the least. The meal was perfect. Just the right amount of spice and tasted lovely. I even found elements to the meal i would normally dislike to be enjoyable. Maybe not the cheapest restaurant but my fiancee and i had a lovely meal and the music makes the place very fun to be. Staff lovely and no long wait. Will be coming here again. Nachos to share well worth a try.
