Not overly impressed with the service not sure if some of the staff were arguing amongst themselves? we found what looked like a false nail covered with a plaster in the shared nachos and the main courses were mostly scant and presented without thought chicken burger with a teaspoon of sauce and some limp lettuce! Didn’t bother with dessert! Wouldn’t go again based on this experience.
Fantastic Decor. Service was superb....food was without question perfect and the staff member the day was super...great afternoon...a defo recommendation.
I will give this place a 5 star for its overall food / Service by the staff. Pleasant smiles and great food.
Ahh the Mexican restaurant that a actually has sombrero for u to try . Amazing right ? The food is amazing and the staff too ,its a family favorite to many families . So u know where to go next time if u haven't tried this out yet
Food was nice. Two waitress were lovely.
We poped into chiquito's this morning and had an excellent brunch. The food was top notch and the staff were polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.
The decor and layout of this Chiquitos is lovely, has a real warm intimate feel even when busy. The problem was the service, we entered the restaurant and were waiting to be seated a little longer than we would have liked. We were seated by whom I could only assume was the manager, he took our drinks order and gave us a menu my menu was falling apart. I initially ordered Steak to be told 15/20 mins later my Steak of choice had run out. Which isnt ideal, but what annoyed me was how long it took to tell me. This same man manager was serving 80% of diners. I chose something else with a portion of chips, the chips never came. I was then asked after I had finished my meal if I still wanted them, by this time I just wanted to leave. We were both given complimentary drinks, but it was too little too late.
Really good meal with friends. The food was excellent, a great selection of starters, mains and desserts. Great service. Our server, Jade, was really good, taking our orders in a warm and friendly manner. It was quite busy, but she checked on our table regularly. All round a really good experience.
Really nice in here. Superb customer service. The food didn't take long to arrive at our table, the atmosphere was nice, the place was clean and toilets well maintained. The food was very tasty with a good range on offer, including kids menu, vegan options and gluten free alternatives too. It was a lovely touch to be offered our leftovers to be packaged up to takeaway. Excellent all round, thank you.
When we arrived we stood for a long time before anyone came to seat us. Then waited in the bar area and had a couple of nice cocktails while we waited for a table. Overall seemed a little short staffed. 1 guy on the bar with a build up of old glasses and just a few waiting staff on the floor. The food was average. I ordered steak fajitas. Not bad but portions a little small for the price and not much flavour. My girlfriend got a steak which was better portion wise but still average. It took along time to get a table and service seemed generally slow. There was one really nice apologetic waiter there who seemed to be working really hard but others seemed disinterested. He finished his shift just before we left so I didn't catch his name. Mixed race guy in a shirt. When we tried to get the bill it again took a long time. Waitresses seemed more interested in cleaning tables than serving customers even though it was getting late. All in all we both agreed it was average.
