Top class fish, chips and pies in Buxton town centre. Always a reliably tasty feed! Great value too - 2 x chips, pie and fishcake for £9. So glad they're open to eat at now too!
Touch expensive for the portion sizes. Priced for tourists rather than locals probably due to the expensive location but it is tasty.
Nice chips and curry sauce but disappointingly large portions for such a tourist trap as Buxton I'd have expected just 16 chips and price point of no less than £9.
l can honestly say that l have never tasted anything so bad for a while the chips were cold pudding uncooked and the gravy was full of lumps. l wouldn't recommend this place to anybody
Basic 'award winning' chip shop. Fish nice after hunting plate to find it. Good mushy peas and chips. Soggy white pulp meant to say bread with definitely not butter inedible. Coffee! - two sips says it all - wonder which bargain granule tin it came from? Maybe sounds worse than it was - just!
