Arrived at counter at 7:40pm but Post Office was closed. States hours are from 8am to 8pm. Asked a coop staff for help but they could not help me because I needed to purchase an envelope or parcel box from the post office. Hours should be amended to 9-5pm when trained post office staff is available.
Been 3 time to try get ID verified and told to come back another evening when a trained staff member should be in then on 3rd visit told must be done during the day only when most people are working. Staff in the COOP are quite rude when approached or while you waiting. If you need anything after 5pm don’t bother they only have 1 staff member trained who has an hour break from 6pm and they close at 8pm!
Visited the post office couple days ago, googled opening times and noticed it opened at 8am, popped down at 8.30am and got greeted by a lady who works there who was extremely rude. Telling me that I needed to go to the coop kiosk. Not sure why there website states 8 when they don’t actually serve you till 9. The two lovely lady’s in the coop kiosk were delightful tho
My husband and I went to the post office in the Co-Op Chipping Norton to renew both our passports We were looked after by Shala she was patient efficient and explained every step of the way as she did this for us both online Shala made us feel confident and comfortable with the process Shala mentioned we would get alerts by email and text as our new passports were processed We had the best customer service from Shala so much so we bought her a small bunch flowers to Thank her for helping us we delivered them today 10-06-24 2 extremely happy customers here Kind and thankful regards Laurie & Norah
This post office chain is an absolute disgrace, the staff are so pathetically bad at their jobs I cannot understand why they are even employed. It seems they are deliberately slow just to annoy everyone in the queue.
Good service but a bit annoying that opening hours are advertised incorrectly. Should be open til 8pm but wasn’t open at 6:30p today. Wasted trip
Not too bad a queue today, 2 counters open, so moving quite quickly. Staff were friendly and very helpful
Unfortunately the most unfriendly and incompetent post office i have ever experienced in my life.. i live only 2 houses further in chipping norton next to the post office, despite that i prefer to travel to bloxham or banburry if i have to go to the post office. Once I wanted to send glasses to Brighton without a case and they wanted to sell me a shipment Label for £ 17 for this price it makes almost sense to drive them to Brighton my self, in Banbury the post office only took £ 6 for it. I have often been sent away from this post office because supposedly my packages do not correspond to the size I bought the label online, strangely enough, I usually went to Bloxham or Banbury afterwards and there is no problem with the package, it was accepted without any problems. Not only i do feel that way, but my work colleagues, friends and family who have ever visited this post think the same as me. I am surprised that the royal mail still leaves this post office open. Just look at the bad reviews, every time we go there, there is some problem, wich in other post offices is not. Also the opening times are completely wrong as show in Google. I went many times there before they open, ore after they have close already, I also told them many times that the opening times are wrong.
I visit this Post Office in the Co-op regularly and have found everyone to be very, cheerful, helpful and professional . So maybe other people should smile and treat the people behind the counter the way in which they would like to be treated. Thank you, Post Office staff, for still being their. Marilyn.
This post office is rarely open after 5:30pm they might as well be honest with opening hours.
